The Vintage Room at The Reserve Golf Course reviews from OpenTable diners
  • Good food, Good service!

We brought two couples to dinner on a week night. While they were out of a few things, the server did mention it before taking our orders. Our party ordered razor clams, lasagna, pulled pork sandwich, lamb burger and the flat iron steak. All entrees were very good and we will return to this restaurant again. In good weather, ask to sit on the patio overlooking the golf course. It is beautiful!

Food was great but service was quite slow. We sat out on the deck and there appeared to only be one or two servers for what must have been 20+ tables. We made reservations ahead of time but still had to wait a good 30 minutes for a table. I would suggest adding more servers out on the deck area.

This restaurant has the best fries I have ever had! The French Onion soup is so good. The service is superb and our server, Ray, seemed to anticipate our needs very well. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

  • Poor Service and So So Pricey Food

We'd give the food mixed reviews on quality, but definitely a bit overpriced. My wife had the Mahi Mahi, which was excellent. I had the filet and it was very fatty (it's a filet!) and had a gas flavor from the grill that overwhelmed any other tastes. Our server was not very experienced, especially for a fine dining atmosphere. After a rushed initial visit to the table for drink and appetizer orders, we didn't see him again for almost 30 minutes to finally take our entree orders. Meanwhile, he set up a tray stand directly next to our table and proceeded to serve all of the other tables in his section from the improvised serving station he'd set up. It was very distracting and not a premium experience for us. Very disappointing overall.

Trina the bartender really looked out for us. The hostess forgot about us so Trina got us a table. Prime rib was gone by 7:00. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly, but had no seasoning. The drinks were a good pour, nice and strong. Quiet atmosphere, the restaurant just seemed a little unorganized, but friendly. We still like it for a lunch place.

A relaxed atmosphere and attentive (but not intrusive) staff made for a good evening. The menu consists of American standards, as one can see online. With the traditional, high-end club atmosphere, I did expect a more-extensive wine cellar (no wine list available online). It was not a factor for our dinner, but I would mention it when recommending this restaurant. The parking layout appears to be designed for valet parking, with the parking lot away from the building, but there was no parking attendant on the weeknight we visited.

Went on a Thursday night between Christmas and New Years. We found that the place was not busy at all only two or three other tables occupied. The Hostess and our Waitress were great! I would assume that it being the off season and all probably contributed to the lack of patrons, but it was great for us just coming off a really busy Christmas with family, etc. We were ready for some quiet time and this was perfect!! The food was absolutely amazing and prices were really reasonable! We will be back again but will be doing the breakfast, that is if I can get my wife up on a weekend so we can be there by 7:00 AM..........She really wanted to be able to see the view from the dining room but being dinner time this visit it was not possible.

This has to be one of the best places I have ever enjoyed a meal so much. The food was excellent. For the first time ever I can honestly say I now know the difference between a cook and a chef. It was like eating at a fine dining facility with out the fine dining prices. very pleasant atmosphere, very relaxing and calming. It was not very busy on the Thursday that we dined there but it was perfect for me. cannot say enough about the food and how nice it was to eat a meal and converse with our company with out having to shout over crowded voices you would normally hear at other restaurants. Last but not least the service was superb.

Not fine dining...but, good solid/good quality food. Very friendly and prompt service. Nice views of the golf course. Went for lunch and menu was pretty basic. Burgers, sandwiches, soup/salad....and a few entree items that were a bit more adventurous. (Lamb/andouille meatloaf?) My chicken and lettuce wrap was good. Fries were great. Maybe dinner would be a bit more "fine dining" like, but menu looked pretty standard american. Go to this place for solid/good quality dining, with a view.

  • Summer Evening Patio Dining Perfect
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 7/10/2011
We went out to enjoy the gorgeous, Sunday, Summer evening dinner and usually a 7:30 reservation guarantees that yet this family behind us thought it suitable to bring their 3 wild, whiney, under 10 boys to dinner as well. Nothing the establishment can control but it certainly put a damper on the otherwise perfect way to enjoy a glass of wine, sunshine and end the weekend. Food was delish, service was great and the views from the patio, well, it's hard to beat a beautiful course, sunset and a small body of water! Let's hope next time there's not 3 little wild indians seated behind us!

They have an excellent dinner menu at full dinner prices. The aspect I like is the informal menu with great food at the 8 to 10 dollar range. I had the lamb burger that was excellent, my wife had the open faced crab sandwich that was very good as well. You can either eat indoors, or outdoors on the patio when weather is nice. Service was good, food was excellent, view of the course and cost range is very nice.
