  • "They have the most thoughtful wine list, and with the tasting sized glasses, was able to drink plenty of different wines while not getting "toasted". Wonderful food pairings and cheese plates. Attentive relational non-annoying wait staff"

  • "I went here for a friend's birthday, and we all enjoyed the large wine selection. The food is tapas-style, and the food was delicious. We shared two flatbreads (cajun and pulled pork) as well as an antipasti platter and a baked brie. For three people, this was ok, but definitely not filling. Overall, it was a bit pricey, but this would be a good place for a special occasion."

  • "Want to try something different for a change then go to the Vineyard Wine Bar. Nice selection of wines and beer along with new small plates of things to try. Restaurant is small and seemed to have just one service per table per night so you can make a night of it. Reservations a must from what we saw."

  • "I usually won't write a review unless I've been to a place a few times because I don't want to base my judgement on a fluke, but in this case I don't think the Vineyard was this good by chance. The wine list is fantastic (If you want to pay $50 or more for a bottle - don't come here) all of the wine is available by the bottle/glass/taste and all very reasonable and very good. Our server was right there when we sat down and always checking at the appropriate times with a smile and a great attitude. Salads and flat breads were fresh and excellent. Our main courses (both fish) were also excellent. We drove an hour and 15 minutes to get there - well worth the trip. Will go back."

  • "This lovely little restaurant is hidden away in Havre de Grace. It has wonderful food, a pleasant ambience and very decent service. It's a great place to go when visiting with friends. Nobody hurries you, and staff makes you comfortable even after you've finished your meal."

  • "We love this restaurant - such a breath of fresh air in our area. The wine list is certainly notable, and the service is always superb. My only complaint is that it is a little expensive for what you get. We tend to spend a lot more than we would for a full meal, yet we only get wine and small plates. The food and wine is outstanding, but usually we spend A LOT and leave kind of hungry:-) Regardless, we will go back time and time again to this unique hot spot."

  • "A great place to relax and enjoy wine, attentive service, a comfortable atmosphere and well-thought out small plates. We keep returning time after time."

  • "The menu is as diverse as it is delicious: you can enjoy a smorgasbord without feeling stuffed! There are about eighty wines by the bottle, glass or taste, so you are bound to find one or more that you will love. This place came highly recommended and now I know why!"

  • "What a wonderful evening! We visited on Valentine's Day and can't wait to return. I love their concept of no congregating. You will never see people standing/crowding the bar or the entrance waiting for a seat, because once a seat is reserved it is not allowed to be re-reserved later. The wine list is amazing and the staff extremely knowledgable to help diners with their selections."

  • "Very good overall. A couple food prep inconsistencies, but overall, very good. The menu was excellent and very innovative, lots of great choices. Service was very attentive. Overall , a very good dining experience. Also, wine list is very expansive and priced soooo very reasonably!"

  • "My fiancé and I have been here twice and each time we found new reasons to love it. The butter salad was light and read reaching, our waitress was absolutely fantastic, the wine selection always amazes us as well. The staff was friendly and energetic as well as knowledgeable in the various wines. My fiancé and I have both served in the food industry in years and The Vineyard has the best customer service. We plan to continue to make this a regular date night spot!"

  • "The food and wine list here are wonderful. The plates are really tapas style so you can mix courses easily. My only complaint is the size of the table. They are more on the cramped side of cozy, which makes service a juggling act. Despite that I highly recommend it."

  • "I found this place by its highly rated reviews on yelp. The reviews were spot on. The wine list was extensive. The staff was knowledgeable about the food and wine. Which was great for my boyfriend and I because we don't know very much when it comes to wine. All the food was excellent. We got the Bibb Salad, Cesar Salad, Cajun Flatbread to share. My date got the Salmon Wellington and I, the Ahi Tuna. I would definitely get any of these dishes again. We already have made plans to go back. One word of advice, the bar area is slightly laid back, I do wish we would have requested the lounge area which has much more of a quite, romantic setting."

  • "Wine selections to make everyone happy, thoughtful and delicious plates of food, outstanding service, relaxed atmosphere, and an evening with our adult children - it doesn't get any better than this! It is becoming a tradition for our family and we look forward to each visit."

  • "Impressive by the glass list. I was focused of full body reds. There were around 20 of these to choose from. Lots of white and light reds as well. You can do a glass, bottle, or 3 oz. Assortment of small plates make this a great experience. Our server was knowledgeable about the wines offered and was able to make good suggestions. Kitchen very accommodating about my cheese aversion. Can't wait to go back."

  • "You've got great tapas, wine & cheese plates options at this handy downtown spot... The location is cozy but maybe just right and has tables, a bar & couches so you can choose the atmosphere to suit the occasion. Food selection is broad enough to service most pallets, plentiful and well above average. Service was excellent, prompt and accurate and the price was definitely fair for such a pleasant experience. We were a work group but the shop is great for a small tight group gathering...I'll be back!"

  • "We find this restaurant to be a perfect place to sit down with our adult children to meet and get caught up. Our boys both appreciate a nice bottle of wine, and the setting is relaxed and welcoming. We have our favorites on the menu, so it has become almost a tradition to start with a flatbread or two, and treat the menu as it was constructed - small bites and tapas. They have a lengthy and interesting wine list, each and every menu item we have tried has been thoughtfully developed, and quite tasty. We happen to enjoy their wine ice cream - very nicely done. Service has always been spot on - knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of our relaxed pace. We do suggest you check the menu on line - it's great but different."

  • "A smaller restaurant with a romantic, slower pace, comfortable feel. Excellent and very knowledgeable service. The food is smaller portions with fantastic flavor. A salad, flatbread and a main dish is just the right amount of food. Many, many wines to choose from for all food choices. Definitely recommend this restaurant for wine lovers or just for a quiet, change of pace, dining experience."

  • "Excellent Restaurant. Hands down the best atmosphere and food in Havre De Grace. Only drawback is that for groups larger than four it would be a little crowded. Best suited for couples. Excellent wine selection. Our server was very knowledgeable and very professional. Best food and service in town."

  • "Traveling back to PA from Alexandria, VA and feeling in need of sustenance I went to Open Table and landed such a sweet little place for a great wine selection and wonderful food to accompany the wine. Our server was very helpful and we left wishing it were much closer to home."

  • "Made reservations for 9:30 pm on a Friday night. When we arrived there was a group finishing up their wine at the bar and no other diners. We were not rushed even though we were the only people at the restaurant. Ordered lamb chops, excellently seasoned and cooked perfectly medium rare and the salmon wrapped in phyllo dough was great as well. Wine list by the glass is great and I always enjoy trying a wine I'm not familiar with. I would definitely recommend this restaurant in the quaint Havre de Grace Historic District!"

  • "I enjoyed dining at The Vineyard. However, as a first time diner I was expecting a little more explaination of the pairing suggestions with the dishes and wine. I also found that the portions were smaller but was not aware of this upon ordering. We would have ordered an extra dish. Instead even after desert we left hungry. The restaurant was romantic yet we were seated right next to the bar which was a little loud. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend. I would just inform them about the portions ahead of time."

  • "Generally pleased for the first time. Food was good but somewhat skimpy on quantity. Ordered beet salad with side of salmon. Good presentation but felt the beets were sliced very thin and the amount of salmon @ 3oz amount. Could have done more. Almost had small plate look and feel. Wine selection was appropriate for type of establishment. Relaxing environment in side room with couches. Service better than average and host was welcoming. I would return and recommend to others."

  • "This was my friends 1st visit to the The Vineyard for dinner, & we went there at my suggestion. As usual, I was not disappointed. Joe was very accommodating, and made sure the ladies were happy with their setting arrangement. The 5 of us totally enjoyed our dinners. The Rose Chicken Paupiette, was delish! The Salmon Wellington, and De-contstructed Strawberry Fields salad were a table favorite. The wine selection is top notch! We had varied wine tastes among us, and our server was very helpful in helping us to pick a wine for our taste."

  • "Love visiting my husband who works at APG, because I know I will get to go at least once for dinner at The Vineyard Wine Bar! It is one of my top 5 faves of restaurants from across the Country, including Charleston, SC! The wine list is outstanding... And the staff is very knowledgeable in providing guidance. On Friday evening, the Vineyard was offering a great Cab from Napa, Provenance, in celebration of their 5 year anniversary. A great bottle of wine! Regina, our server, made several food recommendations that would pair well with the wine - one choice, the Gruyere-Mushroom tart was outstanding!!! We also had our favorite... Salmon Wellington, which was perfect! The Vineyard Wine Bar is a Must!!! You'll not be disappointed."

  • "This small bistro/wine bar is the type of place sophisticated professionals are looking for- intimate, a good atmosphere, and reasonable prices. However, the small space poses a challenge as the draft from the front door opening sends chills through your the whole place! I appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, however the service was just too slow- with cheese plates taking 25 min and the meals over an hour- and they weren't even close to full! The value prop is a large wine selection by the glass, and prices are reasonable, but needs more higher end selections to work. I certainly would like to see this locally owned place do well, and will visit again, hoping the can continue to make improvements and survive!"

  • "My husband and I had a fabulous late lunch on a lazy Saturday afternoon. I had the Crab and Artichoke Salad which had lumps of delicious cold crab. The artichokes added a tangy twist that I really enjoyed. My husband tasted several samples of the extensive wine list while I just picked a favorite. We both enjoyed getting out of the house and relaxing at one of our new favorite places."

  • "We heard of this place through a friend, and even though it's 40 minutes away, gave it a try. It's a charming, small place on the main street of Havre de Grace, worth driving for. The menu, while small, is packed with many different types of foods and lots to try. We had a beet salad with cashews, a small cheese place ( I did wish for more fruit), a cajun flatbread, shrimp skewers, and the spicy crab bisque. Perfect amount of food. Plus the wine! There are tasting pours, regular pours, and bottles. We found a lovely Pinot for $17!! And they are so gracious there! The servers are lovely, and the owner came by a couple of times to check on us and talk to us. Just a delightful place. And the wine store attached it a must visit too!"

  • "Amazing wine selection, artisan cheeses and small but exquisite menu. Flatbread was wonderful, but a tad thin on the toppings. I love the ambiance; a great place to enjoy a quiet conversation over wine."
