"Food and service were outstanding. Management needs to get a clue, though. We brought in 2 of our own bottles of wine, only to be told after the fact (when the bill arrived), that the manager was going to charge us corkage of $15 per bottle bottle and forced the waiter (who was outstanding) to add it to the bill. Nevermind that the food bill alone for 4 people was $160. The manager wanted to make sure he charged top dollar for his corkage. Bad decision, management. When management is more concerned with collecting $30 to open 2 bottles of wine rather than trying to make good paying customers who would eagerly return happy, you'll understand why this restaurant is 90% empty each and every night."

"Mu boyfriend and I had dinner there for a simple date and it was amazing. The chefs can make you something if you wish to substitute some ingredients for another. My boyfriend loved the portion size."

"My husband and I have been there twice since the new chef took over. The food was great before, it's even better now. This truly is a neighborhood gem and one of our favorite restaurants for sure."

"We had a very nice experience here. The menu is somewhat limited - yet, there was a nice variety. Our calamari, Villa salad, salmon and duck were outstanding. My husband thought the salmon was a wee bit overcooked though and we were given a free dessert to compensate. The banana brulee was wonderful. Their bar is nice and relaxing for before or after dinner drinks. We're so excited that this restaurant is back on track - we'll be back!"

"Excellent special occasion restaurant...though suitable for all functions. Have been going there for years with mixed results. New Chef and Menu... welcome change! Food was interesting, tasty and enjoyable. Something for everyone. Service fantastic right down to wine pairings with our food. We will return soon!"

"We had a nice Valentine's meal. Good menu (although selection was a bit narrow) and food was generally good. Server was obviously busy with other diners (not surprising, as it was Valentine's Day), but we did feel a little sidelined. Generally though, one of the better eating out experiences on Feb 14 we've had."
