"No matter how hungry you are, there are selections on the locally-themed menu that will satisfy your taste. I had a bacon salad which had fresh greens, potato croutons, and nice chucks of bacon; the distict textures made it unique and enjoyable. The "small plate" of meatloaf was anything but small; tasty and accompanied with squah and brussel sprouts, it was a big meal. My wife had a filet and rib combo which we nicknamed "turf and turf". It exceeded expectations. If you do some wine tasting prior to the meal, don't sit at a high table!"

"The food was excellent though it took a long time to get our food compared to restaurants in Hyde Park or New York City. It was a long wait between courses and the restaurant was not that busy. Our server was pleasant. Fresh bread would have helped the wait."

"I was VERY disappointed with both the service and the attitude of staff. Had brought a close friend in to celebrate her birthday. Approximately 20 minutes into our Appetizer the fire alarm sounded and all had to evacuate the building. After standing outside for awhile we all returned inside..staff did not apologise nor were any offers made for a complimentary dessert, drink etc. on top of this the service was awful and they were not busy. Our server failed to clear the table after our courses, he failed to cork out wine and did not return for the check. The food was ok and the dessert excellent. Very poor service for an expensive lunch."
