  • Creative Cooking that Tastes Good

A restaurant worth driving to, this is a good example of what all neighborhoods should have: creative cooking that tastes good and is reasonably priced. This is my fourth time eating here, trying different foods each time. With only one exception, an artichoke appetizer, food has been very good to excellent. Portions are generous, food preparation is very good, and the tastes created by the kitchen are consistently enjoyable. The eggplant appetizer was enjoyable, the ahi tuna salad was especially good, and a bread pudding dessert was excellent. Courses are reasonably priced. This is a good place for lunch or dinner.

Dined here the other night. Party of two, with a reservation, were seated promptly. The decor is casual, contemporary and nice. Each course was attractive in appearance and very good tasting. Full variety of foods, from appetizers to sandwiches, pizzas, fish, meats to desserts. A talented and adventurous kitchen staff. Especially good appetizers were the empanadas (with a great dipping sauce) and mac & brie cheese. Entrees were very good: a skirt steak, perfectly cooked with good sides, and a linguini with garlic and spinach cream sauce. The Dulce de Leche cheesecake was outstanding. Espresso was perfectly prepared. Definitely will return.

The food was very good. We had the tuna tartar and the beef empenadas. The service was friendly and attentive. Decor was not impressionable.

Dined the other night. Party of four, with a reservation, was seated promptly. The decor is contemporary and nice: not a white cloth restaurant but casual and comfortable. We all ordered different appetizers and entrees and shared two desserts. Each course was attractive in appearance and very good tasting. Each course had interesting and well-prepared options, showing a talented and adventurous kitchen staff. Especially good appetizers were the scallops as well as the mac & brie cheese. Entrees were quite good, with our party ordering a filet mignon steak, a salmon salad, and a brie & portobello mushroom flat bread pizza. The Dulce de Leche cheesecake was outstanding while the berry cheese tart was very good. Definitely will return.

We had a blast here! Tried it for a birthday for a group of 12 or so-- granted we were probably the noisest diners there no one complained. Our food was perfect & the staff was more than accommodating. The chef came out more than once and had no issues modifying anything for those in our group with food allergies.
