The food is amazing and the drinks are the best in town. This is a restaurant that is important because they truly believe that the diner should have not just dinner but a dining experience. I highly recommend having them add the garlic butter for that extra bit of flavor. The dressing on the house salad is very tasty. A little bit tangy and a little bit sweet and not too much heat. The only disappointing piece was the mac & cheese. The place is showing it's age a bit, but that is part of the charm. The piano bar also featured a bass player and a singer the night we were there. Charming. The steaks and king crab legs were to die for. Huge portions, some of the best flavors we ever put in our mouths. A retro feel accompanied one of the best steaks I've ever had. A surprise bagpipe performance added to the quirky charm of the restaurant. Many owners, but the food quality continues to remain constant. This dinner my wife and I had 2 four ounce lobster tail, very well done hash browns and a salad for $21 each. The waiter said this was a special because the chef said to sell them. we were there on April 15 Monday night and the waiter again said this maybe a Monday night special. My wife had a shrimp coctail with five large shrimp and very tasty. Overall the food remains the best part of the evening and more than enough to eat. The main dining area is small, dark, and intimate, and the bar is ample in comparison. The service is impressive: it's obvious that the wait staff have been well-trained, as they are attentive but not in-your-face. Of course, the standout is the food, and the steaks can go up against all the other primo steak houses in Central Ohio. The mussel appetizer with a white wine marinara and chorizo was out of this world. I would go back just for that. My friend ordered the filet and I ordered the prime rib. Both cuts of meat were perfectly prepared. The tossed salad was a good size and the house dressing has just the right mix of tang and sweet.
