A word from The Tin Table
The Tin Table is hidden away on the second floor of the Oddfellow's building. Upon entering you'll feel like you've just discovered a secret. Brick, tin and a wall full of champagne glasses are just some of the elements of the space.

Diner Reviews
  • "The bartenders and chefs here have a passion for what they do and it truly shows in their quality. Delicious craft cocktails and an innovative menu."

  • "We often celebrate with friends and family at this delightful venue. The energy from the Century Ballroom adds an extra fillip to the hospitable friendly service starting with the warm smile at check-in and "happenin"bar scene. The extraordinary menu is full of tasty dishes, varying with the season. One of us tried the Boar in a fit of adventure, but was disappointed by its unusual texture and fat content. However, the rest of us smiled over our succulent salads, baked halibut, steak frittes, and my favorite, the Floozie Burger, best on the west coast. We like knowing there is always a gourmet vegetarian selection, as well. Of course the meal is enhanced by the outstanding wine list and reasonable prices."

  • "It was a great place to eat and have drinks. The food was wonderful and just the right portion size."

  • "We hit Tin Table on a Tuesday and it was very chill, but I can imagine with its lovely food and location that it was a rare night. We had a group of four but I was early so I had happy hour sangria and the truffle fries - I can't stop telling people to go get these tiny shredded fried pieces of heaven. I had halibut with shaved asparagus I loved EVERY BITE!!"

  • "We had a 9-person group and were all happy with the food and the experience. I particularly enjoyed the Trout, and the flavor of the calamari was unique and outstanding. I'd happily eat here again."

  • "We were sat in a far corner without any light. The waitress eventually came around and took our order. 50 minutes later, after having to get up to find her, did our dinner arrive. It was explained to us that because we didn't order appetizers, our dinner was delayed. When dinner did arrive, the halibut portions were tiny-- medallions really. The steak was decent. Throughout the meal the entire restaurant was silenced as the bartender beat what appeared to be a sack of ice. I would not recommend Tin Table and will not be returning."

  • "If you want your steak properly prepared to Medium Rare, then you better order it rare here. I'm not super picky, but I do like my steak a little pink (not well done). And when I sent it back, it came back (20 minutes later) completely raw. I guess they showed me! Will not return. The giggling obnoxious bachelorette party type at the next table didn't help. I found the crowd to be not very interesting loud-talkers....lots of first date awkwardness."

  • "Really tasty food. We enjoyed the small menu that seemed focused on quality dishes. Excellent service and atmosphere, to boot."

  • "Super friendly wait staff, good food and nice atmosphere. We picked this place last minute not knowing fully what to expect since we weren't locals and the reviews were mixed. The location is a bit odd located on the second floor of what looks like a small office building or apartment complex. Once we got upstairs, we were pleasantly surprised by the small and fun nature of the room. We were greeted and seated immediately. Everything we ordered arrived fast and hot and we both enjoyed the meals. Would I recommend this place as a must visit for those visiting Seattle? Probably not. But I would suggest if you need a last minute selection, go for it."

  • "This is a charming restaurant in an old ballroom facility. Very different and funky -- sort of like you'd find in the Village in NYC. Service was excellent and very friendly. Food was good, but probably not up to "foodie" standards. Overall, a very nice experience I'd do again. "

  • "After profusely apologizing because the table we reserved wasn't quite ready, we had a seat in the lounge area. The funny bartender challenged my basic cocktail order and suggested jazzing it up a bit. I said sure! No sooner had he brought us our drinks and our table was ready. Our server knew the menu inside and out and worked with me to navigate the dairy-free friendly options. The salmon and the pork were both delicious. Had we not been so full we would've tried dessert. There are sooo many new restaurants in the Pike / Pine corridor, not all of them will make it. It comes down to the basics: great food, friendly service, fun atmosphere. Tin Table gets it! "

  • "Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and good service was the perfect place to go before seeing a show at Century Ballroom. The following night, my husband and I went to see the show again and popped into the bar there. Nice cozy chairs, brick walls, dark light and a clever display of glassware lit by blue light .... simply loved it."

  • "Couldn't get anyone else to come check out this place during Seattle Restaurant week so I decided to go myself! Excellent service, quick turnaround with lovely food surrounded by lovely people, I enjoyed myself very much."

  • "My husband and I are total foodies and we love restaurant week for the opportunity to go check out new spots and try some new foods. We have been taking part for years now. But we were disappointed with Tin Table. It felt like we were put back by the kitchen because their additional little dining room is back by the kitchen. So the romantic aspect was pretty much out at that point. We had the scallops and the liver as appetizers. The scallops were so small that i wouldn't call it an appetizer and the liver was Interesting but not a home run. Nothing to wow us in the appetizers for their small size. We had the lamb and the lasagna for dinner which was good but again, not great. And we were still hungry by the time the dessert came."

  • "I've been eager to try The Tin Table and Seattle Restaurant week was the perfect excuse. Sadly, my dining companion and I were both underwhelmed. We had the apple-wood smoked sea scallops (which I did enjoy), roasted rack of lamb w/ couscous, nettle lasagna, key-lime tart (also tasty) and flourless brownie. The couscous fell flat and was plain, leaving a lot to be desired. The nettle lasagna underplayed such a great local & seasonal item -- nettles. Drinks were great and our server was very friendly. Would recommend to friends for happy hour/drinks."

  • "Impromtu dinner out and it was delicious.Only downside was bar served drink with prosecco in tumbler over ice which diminished the sparkle. Had the same drink two days before in a flute and it was perfect."

  • "Food, ambiance and service was excellent. However the portions were so small that we were all still hungry after dessert. We went for a drink and a bite elsewhere immediately after dinner."

  • "Came here with a group of seven last Saturday night. Everything was great; the food was delicious (recommend the trout, gnocchi, and mussels for sure), and the drinks just right....however. We could not stop laughing when a group member ordered some bread for the table, and all the waiter brought was literally a medium-sized piece of bread--basically a portion for one person. After a few drinks, it was pretty funny, and we 'shared' the piece of bread around the table with each person breaking off a small bite. Other than one drink order mix-up, we had no other issues and had a wonderful evening here."

  • "I went there because of the supposedly vibrant cool atmosphere but mostly all tables were organized into 2 big groups leaving an empty space in the middle. My table for 2 was against a wall at the kitchen entrance, isolated from the others and it felt pretty awkward. I was hoping for a cool sophisticated vibe and the whole birthday group with ballons really spoiled that. It also took forever for us to be seated and to even get a drink in the bar while we waited. The food is nothing special so big regret to have booked in that place."

  • "I had dined at the Tin Table before but never in the back room. It has 4 small tables. It's not as pretty as the main dining area but it was signifantly quieter. As we left the restaurant it was notable how noisy the main dining area is. They open the back room on weekends only. Our sever was very attentive and had lots of attention to detail. They were out of the wine we chose and as we debated another option she brought us a sample of each of the two we were considering which helped us choose. From the window we could see people playing bicycle polo on the basketball court across the street which was entertaining. Liver pate starter was delicious. Had both the menu duck risotto and special seafood risotto and both were wonderful."

  • "We've dined here on 3 separate occasions and it's hit or miss. The ambiance is lovely but the menu is limited and they always feel just a little under-staffed. Service people are all super gracious and fun but they seem to disappear throughout the meal and no one else is around to ask for salt and pepper or the bill. Overall, I give it a B."

  • "Loved everything about The Tin Table: the food, the staff, the large pours, the great champagnes by the glass. We took out time, and nobody rushed us."

  • "Shoestring fries and arugula salad were simple and perfect. The duck risotto with pecans was rich, with a delightful balance between savory and sweet. The rice was cooked perfectly. The gnocchi were bursting with flavor in pesto with pear and cherry tomatoes. I also appreciated the good selection of moderately-priced wines In all, a wonderful destination for a superb dinner."

  • "I took clients to the The Tin Table on 2/20. When we first arrived at 7pm on a Thursday, the place was empty and the lights were up. Felt very stoic/rigid. We saddled up to the bar to have a drink before heading to our table. The bartender did a great job with our cocktails - we tried several including Laman's Terms which was yummy. We were shown to our 4 top which was located by the window. I find the whole Century Ballroom building drafty and cold. We were cold throughout dinner. Salads/starters were small. The mains were decent sized, but nothing that memorable. Overall, I would not rush back to The Tin Table - there are too many other great spots in Seattle."

  • "The Tin Table has become our go-to spot on Capital Hill for special occasions or a happy hour burger. You have to try the Floozy burger and truffle fries. Best burger in a long-long time. The more formal foods and desserts never let you down either. Drinks are wonderful, prices are reasonable, service is great. Be sure to take a class or go dancing at the ballroom after dinner!"

  • "We had a scrumptious meal and had the pleasure of just taking our time, sharing a bottle of delicious wine, not being hurried by the wait staff. It's romantic while still being relaxed and welcoming. They have a community table as well, making it easy to enjoy a meal out by oneself as well. Dessert was divine!"

  • "Next door to two dance studios so it has some appeal for being unique. The champagne prices are amazing! Food was also well done. We will be back to try some more of the menu items. The server was an order taker rather than someone interested in guiding you through the experience."

  • "I came here with friends for a bday dinner before a night out in Cap Hill. The menu looked amazing with all the great options. I kept it simple and went with the steak and frites. The layout of the restaurant is interesting. We were seated in the back by the kitchen, but getting there was a bit of an obstacle course. Service was a bit slow and not sure it was that busy. We came and it was snowing pretty good out. But ordered a scotch on the rocks and it took a while to get my drink. Steak came out cook how I liked it med rare. Flavor was ok not great. There was a small dollop of blue cheese but not enough to add flavor to the steak. There was also a small bundle of arugula. And the remaining 2/3 of my plate was covered in curly fries."

  • "Truffle frites!! So addictive and absolutely fantastic. The menu is just one page so not overwhelming at all but offering great selection. Everything from duck & pecan risotto to trout and housemade sausages. Excellent food overall. My only complaint was that the service was slow. Not horribly and we were in no hurry and the server was pleasant enough but slower than typical. Another plus is that they actually did a classic moscow mule -- in the copper mug! Something that seems a rare find. I would definitely go again!"

  • "I chose this restaurant because a vegetarian friend was joining us for dinner. The food was outstanding, fresh and full of flavor. Four of us shared the boiled cheese balls (way nicer than that sounds!), a beet salad and a farrow dish. All were great but the farrow dish was the favorite, it was crunchy and tasted a bit nutty, just wonderful. For mains, I had the butternut gnocchi, the vegetarian friend had the ravioli, my husband had the fish and my other friend had the burger. Every dish was great. The panna cotta desert was creamy, fresh and mouth wateringly good. Great wine, great server, all was good. I'll be back very soon."

  • "We frequently dine at the Tin Table and usually have great service and the food is always delicious. However, this time we were told by our server that we should stay away from a few of the items on the menu and she also recommended a wine that wasn't even close to the style we said we were interested in. Normally, we would appreciate the advice, but it seemed more of an opinion and not good advice. With that said, we were all pleased once we got the wine we really wanted and the entrees were all good. When the bill came, we did split it among 5 people (so understand the complexity) but we were overcharged!!! It took a few attempts to get it corrected, but what a hassle."

  • "We take my mother in law (ex chef) here often when she visits from out of state. Food is stellar every time, we try to check out new restaurants for her visits but end up back @ Tin Table often. This time the boyfriend had the pork chops, a large serving perfectly cooked. My salmon was prepared a bit differently, with crushed potato chips on top, and cooked a bit more dry than I usually prefer but it was an interesting take on salmon / potatoes. They could have been a bit more descriptive on the menu. Similarly the butternut squash gnocchi was potato gnocci with large pieces of squash, when I would have expected a butternut squash sauce. Overall everything was tasty, their frites are cooked perfectly."

  • "My boyfriend and I went to the Tin Table for our weekly date night. We had roasted cauliflower, arugula salad, duck and pecan risotto, the sausage entree, and the cheese plate. Everything was yummy...the kitchen obviously put a lot of thought into how to season/flavor the food, and the ingredients were high quality. My only complaint is that the risotto was not creamy and soft; it was just soupy rice. I didn't even eat half of it and the server didn't seem to notice or care. Still, the flavor of the dish was really nice, so we will definitely return for another meal."

  • "The room and champagne cocktails were festive. But while the dishes all sounded delicious and were delivered with a flourish, they were served at room temperature and the flavors were disappointing. Lobster ravioli was too heavily vanilla-sweet, potatoes were cool and limp, ahi sauce overpowered the fish. The beef was tasty, but tough. Overall a disappointing meal for the price."
