Sitting on the fifth floor of the Conrad Chicago's lobby, the indoor Terrace Bar offers a sleek interior and a variety of domestic and imported beers, wine, ports, dessert wines, scotch, liqueurs and martinis paired with a light snack menu.   • "This restaurant was just ok. I had made reservations .... no need as we were the ONLY couple in the entire restaurant. Made me wonder why. The waiter was nice .... but took him quite a while to come back to our table time and time again. The food portions were ok ... but on the small side. Menu was VERY small. Would probably not eat there again just because of the limited menu."

  • "The name of the restaurant is deceiving. Maybe in the summer you'd see more of a terrace or a rooftop. The food is typical overpriced hotel restaurant food. We were the only people in the restaurant (should have been a sign) and were rarely recognized by our server."

  • "Was there on a cold Chicago night, imagine that, and they serve out into the lobby of the hotel, whereby I got a spot right next to their very cool fireplace. Excellent burger and perfect wine. Tom helped to guide me and did a terrific job. As it's in the Conrad Hotel, I went there for breakfast the next morning, using a voucher that came with my room rate. The hearty American breakfast lives up to its billing, Meredith did a terrific job."

  • "Great open terrace, warm, clear night makes a perfect evening. Friendly wait staff. I liked that it wasn't a mob scene, low key, casual, and relaxing. You don't have to fight for a spot like at the "Witt" or "Trump" rooftops. Some hits and misses on the food, barbecue shrimp and grits, a "10" Crab cakes and chicken and waffles, not so much. Crab soup also noteworhty. All in all with a great view and pretty good food, it's definitley worth the trip"
