The Terrace ClubMother's Day SuccessI always eat at The Terrace Club on Mother's Day whether brunch or dinner it is always a fine dining experience. The calamari and diver scallops, cajun swordfish, lobster ravoili and ceasar salad were all delicious. This is my favorite restaurant. The drink menu is awesome!!!! The view of the lake is just beautiful!!!!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMServiceWe went for Mother's day brunch. Julie and her team bent over backwards to accomodate our many changes to our reservations. However, once there we had to ask for bread when we noticed other tables were receiving it and we hadn't. Had to ask for refills because the server didn't return very often. Our seating was weird because there were several open tables but we ended up on the end in a high traffic area - which included opening and closing of the outside door and it was cold! We never were offered dessert. Do they have dessert? We felt 'scooted out".5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother Day LunnerWent on Mothers day and expected crowds and terrible service. Boy were we surprised. Picked the perfect time to go after brunch and before dinner. Group of 6 ordered drinks, appettisers and main course. Since it was a special day the menu was limited. yet everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The lobster ravioli was seasoned perfectly. The filet mignon was tender and the side mashed potatoes were the best I have ever had. The desert were also good. The only negative was that the cappachinno machine was not working. The food was delicious from the appertizers to the main meal. Just be prepared it's a little pricey.

Extremely pleasant and attentive service.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was awesome, serviceThe food was awesome, service people were really great and the view of lake mahopac was outstanding.The tuna sliders are just simply phenomenal, would come back and order two servings (six sliders) as a main course ! The calamari was just sensational, very unique batter, cooked perfectly but would have like a little more dipping sauce since the helping of calamari was nice and big. Love the popcorn to snack on while we waited for the food. The salmon was OK wished I went with a different fish but the beans and green potatoes were absolutely wonderful. As our meal was finishing the wait staff started sweeping around us, clearing our table
every few seconds and the music had gone off... We felt as if we were being hurried out.
Granted it was a Wednesday evening but it was only 9.30pm when we were leaving!

There was an interesting variety to choose from, and the shrimp sliders and rosemary chicken soup were stand outs! The service was friendly and attentive. We love that they serve you delicious popcorn instead of bread!
