A word from The Teahouse Restaurant
Drive through an evergreen oasis and dine beneath towering trees on the oceanfront, at The Teahouse on Stanley Park’s Ferguson Point.

One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.

The natural west coast atmosphere is perfectly enhanced by Executive Chef Annabelle Leslie's cuisine using fresh local ingredients.

For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.

Diner Reviews
  • "The dinner was very good. We had the seafood salad and everything was fresh and perfect. We sat outside and it was great except for the loud music. We had to shout across the table. Other than that, the view was amazing with the lights on the water and the super full moon."

  • "Because there are so many fabulous restaurants in Vancouver I have only been to the TeaHouse a few times (3or 4) but the service and food has always been outstanding. Price point ....something for every budget."

  • "Excellent view, courteous staff and the food on the menu was all that I wanted on a quite weekend afternoon!"

  • "The Teahouse has a special history for me as I celebrated my 8th birthday there over 50 years ago. I often eat at The Teahouse and very much enjoy the ambiance, food and service."

  • "Setting is perfect, staff was great, and the food was excellent. A very relaxing evening. Strongly recommend this restaurant."

  • "We dined at the Teahouse Restaurant with some family who had just moved to the city. We were seated in the atrium (our favourite spot). It was a hot evening, so a bit warm in the atrium. Our server was fabulous. Food was for the most part very good, though the salmon specials seemed overly salty, and the squid appetizer came breaded despite the fact that there was no information on the menu to suggest that this would be the case. Some loved it, one sent it back. Our server offered up a gratis dessert selection plate in recognition of the troubles. This venue continues to offer up reasonably priced, reliable food, served with style, in an unbeatable location."

  • "Thanks for a great evening. Our waitress was just the best. Attentive, informative, great suggestions. Just the perfect lady to have at the end of our table, and speaking of tables - we love that one tucked into the corner by the window. Many thanks for an enjoyable time."

  • "Three elderly sisters and a niece met for brunch Jun22nd and it was absolutely wonderful! We live in Florida, Minnesota and Washington and knew this was probably the last time we would all meet as our ages are 73, 76 and 80 Two of the three sisters have life threatening illnesses. Our server was from Nova Scotia (don't know his name), but he was so professional. kind and attentive. The day was magical! We will never forget our wonderful experience at The Teahouse at Ferguson Point"

  • "As usual (we have been coming for many years) the service and the food was wonderful. We will definitely come back again, both for anniversaries and simply for a brunch, and would be happy to recommend your restaurant to friends."

  • "We were greeted and seated quickly, on time. Service was attentive, helpful in ensuring we understood the options, process. Presentation and taste of the appetizers and entree's made it a special treat, that was enhanced by the wonderful view of the sun setting over the bay."

  • "We did have an enjoyable experience. Their service, ambiance and hospitality (for our small birthday celebration) was phenomenal. They made us feel at home and welcomed (from the moment we walked in until we left). Our server was such a professional sweetheart, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the menu. We are very glad we chose this restaurant."

  • "The Teahouse is one of our favorite Vancouver spots to take out of town guests. We took guests there for lunch last Sunday. All our meals were excellent. The special "Cobb Salad" was amazing. Our waiter, Michael, was attentive, pleasant and funny. We will be back!!!"

  • "This restaurant is a great place to take your dates to. The view is amazing and if you happen to get the best seat in the house, with a view of the sunset, it makes any evening just perfect. The prices are quite good but the food is only mediocre to my taste. Great services from the staff for the most part, aside from one waiter whom wasn't as attentive as I'd have hoped. All in all, it's one of the best restaurants if your looking for one with an amazing view."

  • "Attentive staff and good food, but pricey for small portions. Very noisy. Waited a very long time for food to appear. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff."

  • "The view is great, the food very good, but the outstanding feature was the service! We were celebrating a birthday and our lunch at the Teahouse Restaurant made the occasion extra special."

  • "with a table by an open window on a wonderful Father's Day afternoon, we looked out upon the glorious Pacific, enjoyed each a delicious Caesar salad there, with crisp lettuce and Parmesan cheese shavings to make your mouth water, my New York steak, in peppercorn jus, and frites were superb, everything done to perfection, my mom's featured salmon won from her praise, she also very much liked my giant onion rings - a special thanks to Heidi, who couldn't have been more friendly and efficient, a very burst of sunshine on our meal"

  • "The Teahouse Restaurant is an under-appreciated gem in Vancouver. I love the ambience, so elegant yet warm and welcoming. The staff here are very friendly and accomodating; we had two vegetarians, a meat-eater and a fish-lover with multiple food sensitivities yet none of this seemed to present a problem. The waiter was extremely helpful and cheerful. The halibut was cooked to perfection and the view is unbeatable. This is a lovely spot to come to on a warm summer evening; the large windows open wide to let in the ocean breezes, or on a chilly winter evening it's cozy, warm and inviting. I would recommend it as a place to bring your out of town visitors or as a romantic getaway for two as the quiet atmosphere allows for easy conversation."

  • "WE had a fabulous time until we left. After we waited for 25 minutes for a cab, we asked the young man at the front seating station to check on our cab - to make a recall. He was dismissive, uncooperative, and unpleasant. A shame, since before that we had a fabulous time. Since we were on our way to the airport, the cab was of considerable concern. A more sympathetic and cooperative approach may not have changed the outcome, but would have kept us feeling well taken care of."

  • "Not everything old is used up, sometimes restaurants like good relationships, can improve with age and this is true of the Teahouse. It is not just the memories of an eatery over the past 35 years, it is the new ones I make now such as the Sunday Prime Rib dinner I used to celebrate my friends birthday. Reasonable prices, incredibly delicious and generous portions and a view that doesn't stop."

  • "The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the waitresses are nice BUT we had to wait over an hour to get served (we had a table at 6.15 and got our food at 7.40...), and the food was cold. Am sure the food would have been good, if it was warm! We did complain and got a discount on our bill. Might re-try it, maybe it was just a bad day?"

  • "The view is great except for the number of tour buses that stop in front. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was disappointing. The mushrooms were too small, not hollowed out, and too hard. When the main dish arrived...too long...my fish and chips fries were cold. The management was apologetic, and did provide free dessert. Overall, I expected more. Next time I'll try someplace else for that special occasion."

  • "Three of us dined, friendly welcome, nice casual patio, good service. Wide ranging menu, well prepared food. Teahouse Stuffed Mushrooms have been on its menu for good reason since 1978 or so. Oh, and the view! As this place is located on the West side of Stanley Park (pay parking $3.25/hr), the view makes it all worthwhile. A nice place to unwind. Warmly recommended."

  • "celebrated a belated mother's day, and the staff made us feel very special; very attentive but not pushy, greeted us warmly at the door and had eye contact. Our lunch was excellent, had the seafood cobb salad."

  • "Lovely evening so we were able to eat outside. Couldn't beat the view. Our server was attentive and provided recommendations. Liked that they have changed their menu from the very traditional one they had previously. They have some lighter options like big salads and the overall menu seemed to update the restaurant which was previously pretty staid. The food was very good. Loved their carrot soup!! An overall great experience!!"

  • "We wanted to meet friends for a snack and tea, so we googled tea houses in vancouver. the Stanley park tea house sounded great. there was no tea on the menu, and when we asked, there were just 4 bagged teas available. we recommend either changing your Internet listings, offering a variety of fresh leaf teas, or changing your name. the desserts were good, but that's not what we came for."

  • "Set at the end of Stanley Park, this cozy little restaurant is possibly one of the most magnificent settings of any restaurant in the world. With a wide expanse of green lawn in the foreground, and the harbor taking up literally the entire horizon, the view was breathtaking. The vibe in the restaurant is relaxed and the staff are very attentive to the needs of their clientele. The menu is somewhat limited but the choices offered are a good quality and quite tasty. Overall this is an experience not just a meal."

  • "There was a large group outside, next to our table, who were very noisy. Next time I will try an indoor table. I think the host who sat us, could have mentioned something. "

  • "The food was not impressive in the least. The only thing Teahouse has going for it is the breathtaking ocean park view. Our male server was lazy and failed to mention The Special Of The Day which was the halibut. If I had known there was halibut, I would have ordered it. I was only aware of The Special Of The Day after hearing the server mention it to the patrons at the table next to us..........thanks a lot, dude. As for the food, the Manhattan chowder tasted bland and diluted. The cod was also on the bland side. However, the rack of lamb was cooked to perfection. If the outstanding view is the only thing that's attractive about this eatery, it's not enough to reel me back. "

  • "Delicious food; the best hollandaise sauce I have ever eaten!! Great job, Chef!! The crab eggs benny was simply amazing! Loved the view. We ate indoors but still had a lovely view and it was quiet with background music that was pleasant. Only thing I thought could be improved upon is if the outdoor waiters help out and bring dishes for the indoor tables, it would be polite if they removed their sunglasses."

  • "Staff was lovely and attentive. My eggs bennie without meat was fabulous. My mom's burger was quite dry. Atmosphere was great and would definitely return."

  • "The location has an amazing view, it is a great place to sit out on the patio on a warm evening. The menu is excellent with a lot of variety. The food was great with service to match. The mushroom appetizer is especially good. The seafood is always a good choice and the restaurant participates in the ocean wise program of sustainable seafood products, so it is nice to know that the seafood you are eating is a sustainable product. We had a fabulous evening and will certainly be back."

  • "I booked a table several weeks in advance for our Mother's Day reunion. First time I had spent Mother's Day with both children since 1978. We had flown in from San Diego, Toronto and Kelowna for our reunion. We were seated at a table in the back of the conservatory, with double doors behind us, one of which had been left ajar. It was opened and closed several times for handicapped access and staff adjusting the outside blinds. We were constantly asking to have the doors closed as the staff kept leaving them open. It was a beautiful morning but still cool air. I wondered if we were sat at the back of the restaurant because we had booked through open table and they perhaps have to pay for this service?"
