A word from The Teahouse Restaurant
Drive through an evergreen oasis and dine beneath towering trees on the oceanfront, at The Teahouse on Stanley Park’s Ferguson Point.

One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.

The natural west coast atmosphere is perfectly enhanced by Executive Chef Annabelle Leslie's cuisine using fresh local ingredients.

For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.

The Teahouse is a contemporary dining experience with a difference, accompanied by the longest sunsets in the city.

Great afternoon on the patio enjoying the view. Waiter never stayed long enough to hear the answers to his questions. Bit indifferent. Burger wasn't as good as in the past. Vongole was great.

Fantastic location and beautiful surroundings. The food was good but our lunch was slightly marred by so so service. Our server did not tell us about the specials which we only found out later when we overheard any server. Too bad as the specials sounded great and we would have ordered them. When the meal was brought to our table the order was wrong and he had to go back for forgotten items. However it was not so bad that we would never go back.

Great place for a special occasion. On a lovely day, sitting on the patio is highly recommended. The food is consistently good. The wait staff are friendly and very obliging. If you have guests from out of town, this restaurant is a must.

We tried this place on recommendation for an afternoon tea but when we arrived, found that it was really a full restaurant these days. We still managed a light tea but we returned a few days later for a lunch. The setting is wonderful looking out over the water and all the food and wine we experienced was great. Our waiter, Adam, took time for a chat despite the restaurant being very busy and was both courteous and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend The Teahouse Restaurant in Stanley Park, Vancouver.

It is difficult to imagine a more appealing restaurant in a more beautiful setting! What appears to be a cozy cottage is just that, but so much more. The interior feels open, spacious and is filled with light. And the view over the approach to Vancouver's harbour is hard to beat. But we eat in restaurants for the food, of course, and The Teahouse never disappoints. The menu is not excessively large but still has plenty of variety, the meals are skillfully and meticulously prepared and the presentation is appealing. My fresh B.C. Coho salmon melted in my mouth and the accompanying melange of potatoes, broccolini and asparagus was perfect. If you eat her once, you will surely return!

We arrived 45 minutes early, in the rain. Not only were we seated immediately at a lovely window with a view, but a staff member went out in the rain to pay for our parking (yes, with our credit card, but saved us the trouble of doing it ourselves). Our lunch was served promtly, and both dishes lived up to their menu description. Fresh ingredients, flavourful and prepared with attention to pleasing arrangement on the plate. Great coffee! Thanks for a memorable and delicious experience!

We were well received when we arrived, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the menu was simple and well thought out with something for everyone. The server was helpful and knowledgeable and finally the food was delicious. We were 3 adults (one visiting from Japan) and an 11 year old and we had a wonderful time at The Teahouse Restaurant. This is the third time I have been there in the past 18 months and every time was a memorable experience.

Many years had pasted since we last visited the Teahouse and it will be many more before we return. For the price we expected a lot more. The appetizers of Coal Harbour Clam Chowder and Teahouse Stuffed Mushrooms were good although the portion of the clam chowder was insufficient and I'm not a big eater. Our main courses were sable fish (black cod) and halibut. The halibut was dry, probably from being too long in the freezer while the sablefish was moist and received a favourable comment. The accompanying vegetables were good. The portions are small so it's just as well they are liberal with the bread. The deserts were good. I'm only giving two stars as I expected a lot more especially for a bill including tip of $250+ for three people.

We enjoyed our evening at the Teahouse and found the ambience outdoors very pleasant on a warm evening. Despite our concerns we were able to park nearby. The dinner was unexceptional. Calamari , salmon and cheesecake. The calamari was very heavily over-crumbed, the salmon well-cooked to our liking, the green herbed mashed potatoes were weird, sorry no other description and the cheesecake just adequate. Value for money there are better value restaurants in Vancouver along Commercial Drive for example.

My husband and I lunched outside on the deck on a beautiful day. The food was expensive but very good and the service was excellent. Great care was taken regarding my husband's allergies and when my cocktail was not quite what I expected, it was remixed to suit me. Because of the price, I would eat here only on special occasions.

We are currently on holiday in Vancouver and made a reservation for the Teahouse, we were very impressed with the quality of food, the cheerful waitresses and waiter and the view from our seats - stunning. A truly wonderful afternoon. Our waitress also didn't mind taking our photograph and suggested a different angle as she knew the photo would come out better. She was right, it did. Thank you - a highlight of our holiday X x x x

We were seated very promptly, and had our choice of inside or the patio. We chose outside because of the lovely view of the ocean. Food was very tasty although the hummus appetizer was a bit bland. The main dish of fish was very good with the accompanying potatoes and asparagus. The server was very personable and took good care of us. Not someplace to go everyday but a nice place to take someone important to you on a special occasion.

The setting of this restaurant could not be more perfect. Right on the beach in Stanley Park. The view was amazing. We watched the sunset from our table. Our waiter was incredibly attentive but not pushy or intrusive. Our meal was outstanding. I had the Prime Rib special and it was cooked to perfection. I could not recommend the Teahouse more. While we were there, a wedding reception was happening in the next room and you would never have known, it was so quiet. So yes, big groups and intimate dinners for two can go on at the same time and neither loses out on what they came there for.

Stanley Park location and ocean views no doubt attract the tourists and the prices. $23 to $28 for a lunch entrée is crazy, as is the $9 for a dessert. The bottle of decent wine was a comparative bargain at $32. Excellent service. Can be noisy.

We made the reservation 2 months in advance for our 10 year anniversary as we did the year before. The year before they gave us a beautiful window table. This year ( knowing it was a special celebration) they seated us in a second tier table with a group of 16 right behind us. It was very noisy so I found a table in the bar that was much better and we asked to move. They were very nice about moving us. Other than that the dinner was very lovely. If we are visiting Vancouver Next year for our Anniversary we go there again but I will ask for table 31 specifically.

Four of us dined at the Teahouse on our recent trip to Vancouver. The major reason to eat here has to be the view and outdoor setting - just beautiful! The food was good, though the overall experience is similar to any upscale country club restaurant (that is, it's not a foodie place). We went on a Sunday and two of us ordered the Prime Rib dinner special (which was fine). The two ladies ordered Salmon (good) and the Crab/Shrimp Salad (very good). We started with a Caesar Salad (shared) and two orders of the Clam Chowder (good). The restaurant was very busy and the kitchen got well behind, so much so that management comped us a bottle of wine. I would recommend the Teahouse to a friend primarily because of its setting and atmosphere.

Prime rib was very good but some would have preferred the sauce on the side though we had not informed the waitress. Beautiful sunset after dinner was a bonus.
