  • "This is one of my favorite restaurants. I love the restaurant's ambiance, the food and the view. You can't go wrong!"

  • "We are 5 friends who enjoyed a lovely walk through Stanley Park to the seawall then up the stairs to the fantastic Teahouse at Ferguson Point. Thankfully the terrace was available and the sun was wonderfully warm. The servers at this restaurant have always been very good and we weren't disappointed this time either. He gave his wine recommendation after our first choice was already sold out and we were pleased. Although we didn't order a big variety off the menu..the women had the big salad and the men had the linguine vongole..everything was fresh and very delicious. My husband and I have been coming here since it opened in 1978 and have always enjoyed the ambience and the food. Thank you again, Teahouse."

  • "I have had brunch at the Tea House in Stanley Park 4 times with my aunt from Ottawa. It has always been a special occasion for us both and we went this Sunday anticipating the usual wonderful food, ambiance and scenery. April in Vancouver with a garden full of daffodils and hyathinths, and sunshine to boot. Unfortunately, I found the service, coffee and food wanting. The specialty coffees were cool, the eggs benedict were also not hot, I had to get up and ask for cream for my coffee from one of the servers when only sugar was provided. We arrived at 10:30 and the room we were in wasn't full for the first hour at least. And yet, I still had to ask for things or get up and get someone to bring items to the table for us."

  • "Went for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Food was excellent, service was attentive and friendly. My wife needs to eat gluten free for medical reasons and the restaurant was very accommodating. Excellent gluten free bread option."

  • "The Teahouse is one of the few restaurants in Vancouver where you can watch the waves, the ships and sit surrounded by lovely flowers! If you are lucky enough to be there on a sunny day it is spectacular! The food is good, its is quite quiet and the staff are very welcoming."

  • "What a beautiful restaurant! This was our first time here and we ate in the glassed in part which had amazing views of the water. Our waiter was exceptional! I ordered the salmon and I don't know how they cooked it, but I have never tasted such delicious salmon before. The food was fancy but we the portions were adequate and we left full. It made for a wonderful anniversary dinner."

  • "A must visit restaurant for tourist and locals in the scenic Stanley Park. Lunch is open until 4pm, and switches to dinner, so you don't have to feel rushed to enjoy your afternoon. Wonderful service."

  • "We made reservations. Had the lobster roll which was tasty and came with some pickled beets and pea shoots that was very good. The desserts were a lemon tart which I give 92/100 and a very good cheese cake. A sunny day in late March with a slow drive through Stanley Park and then to the Teahouse which has one of the best views anywhere. Very polite and attentive staff. Not our first time there and they have always been excellent."

  • "My friend and I had a wonderful evening at the restaurant. It was raining when we first arrived but within an hour the sun came out and we got to enjoy the beautiful view and the lovely sunshine with our dinner. The service was excellent and the food tasty. We will be back soon."

  • "We have been here several times and always enjoy it. Food is excellent, usually well prepared. Waitstaff is helpful. Wine list is weak. Fantastic location, great views. Reserve early as it is very popular, especially in the summer. Can be noisy if crowded or people near you are big drinkers. We will be back. One of our favorite restaurants in Vancouver."

  • "This was a double celebration for us: my early retirement and anniversary of my Husband proposing to me. The watiers did a superb job in making us celebrate in style. The food was very good and the amviance superb. Thank you for a great experience!"

  • "Our first experience with the teahouse was pretty good. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing with the gorgeous sunset in the background. However, the dessert left us unimpressed. The portions were small and had no character. Our second time (a few days after) was great we went for brunch and it was spectacular. Perfectly cooked steak and eggs (you gotta try it) and simple waffles with fresh fruits. No dessert that time but a wonderful meal overall."

  • "My group of friends and I recently enjoyed a very nice evening at the Tea House. The server did a super job, and he and everyone made us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was delicious and timely. I would have liked to have seen a bigger selection of salads, and perhaps not so much of the fried foods that came on offer with steak/fish."

  • "The Caesar salad, carrot soup and lobster Cobb salad were all good but the perfectly cooked rack of lamb was the standout dish. The Chocolate Milano cake and the white chocolate cheesecake proved to be good choices for dessert. Service was very pleasant, and the view on a rare sunny evening as beautiful as ever."

  • "We had lunch here. The food was great , but the view is amazing!! You get a pretty panoramic view of East Vancouver and the UBC. Peninsula !! The ships at anchor in the bay are fun to watch! Yes, the food was good! It looks like it would be very pretty at night too. I liked it!"

  • "Loved the food & the service was excellent, but it was difficult to converse with our elderly relative...There is a lot of background noise. The ambience is wonderful, especially with the cozy fireplaces:) Thank you!"

  • "Sandy is a fantastic host. She was so friendly, rescheduling us when we were late, greeting us enthusiastically when we finally arrived, and even sending us a surprise to stay our meal... We greatly enjoyed our lunch, and the view is perfect for an enjoyable group meal with family. Definitely the right choice on our way from Seattle to Whistler!"

  • "I had lunch at this restaurant this week and it was a true delight. The setting is beautiful overlooking the bay with Stanley Park surrounding on the other 3 sides. The waiter was very attentive i making sure that I ordered a wine that I liked. The resturant was running a special lobster menu and I had a wonderful lobster salad with LOTS of lobster. I moved tothe beautiful bar area by the fireplace for coffee and dessert. What a delightful way to spend a rainy day!"

  • "We all had such a delightful evening ...Our daughter's 40th B-Day . The serving staff were friendly, funny and attentive! They made our Grandson's day by offering up gluten free bread! He thought that was just awesome and he pretty much ate it all himself! The choice of gluten free items was a pleasant surprise. Everyone commented on the quality of the food! Thanks for a Lovely experiences! The Booths"

  • "The food is very good, the location and view are glorious, and you are made to feel welcome and special. I have never had a bad experience at the Teahouse. Service is attentive and combines efficiency with friendliness. Specials are described thoroughly but without an overly "foodie" attitude. Little touches make it a cut above other restaurants in a similar style and price range. I liked the table arrangements of dendrobium orchids."

  • "My husband and I visited The Teahouse Restaurant for dinner on Saturday evening. Having made a reservation earlier in the week, I was disappointed to be shown to a low table, in the lounge area. We told the hostess and she moved us to a booth, which was very comfortable. Our server had too many tables to attend to as service was slow. We were not told about the specials and did not know there were any until we overheard him telling another table about them after we had ordered. We ordered wine, which took a long time to come. We were offered bread but had to follow up on it. There was a gap of approximately 45 minutes between the starter and the main course, during which time both our server and another server apologized for the delay."

  • "On the whole very enjoyable, waiteress was very friendly and helpful, nice surroundings and relaxing amosphere. Howvever there was an unavoidable situation and nothing to do with the restaurant. A large party came in during the latter part of our meal that were very loud in discussion which made it difficult for ourselves to hear oneanother speak. Not too much of a problem as we had almost finished our meals."

  • "We were disappointed that the Conservatory was not open for lunch, however our table was right next to the window with its lovely view and the restaurant was warm on a chilly, rainy day. There was no one to greet us at the Hostess desk which was a surprise as the restaurant was not busy. The menu was limited and the only special was a 3 course all inclusive meal, which for lunch is too heavy for most people. On previous occasions there were always several daily specials for starters and main courses. Not a memorable lunch."

  • "Great atmosphere for a romantic dinner. However, the food quality for this restaurant is sub-par. Me and my wife had the dine out 3-course menu that evening along with a side order of mussels. The mussels do not taste nor smell fresh, possibly the mussels of that type on menu were not in season. The salad and the soup we had were of good quality. To entrees, I had the lamb shank. It was a bit on the dry side, possibly under the heat lamp too long. The deserts we had were wonderful and a good wrap up for the night."
