TTR Uptown Park has a number of unique private rooms and event spaces, along with an expansive outdoor patio, deck, and garden area. There are over 150 wines on our list from which to choose, priced from $15 per bottle to over $1,000 per bottle, all of which are available by the glass (with a two-glass commitment) and for retail (to-go) purchase. We also offer a variety of craft beer selections and non-alcoholic beverages.

Diner Reviews
  • "Went with my "Burger Buddies" to try their TTR Signature Burger. Had mine cooked med-rare and it came out perfect. The brie cheese was a hit, though the fries were fair at best. Service was fair and it was a relatively slow lunch shift."

  • "We made the reservation late to arrive for patio seating. Upon arrival we picked a table outside. The food and champagne were excellent. It is a good place for late night patio. "

  • "We shared appetizers (4 was more than enough for 4 people, could've done with 3), all of which were delicious, over glasses of wine. We ate outside, a very relaxed dining experience where we could chat and enjoy our meal. I'll definitely be returning."

  • "Great Mothers Day brunch. All food items were outstanding as they worked out the kinks from the Easter brunch. I am hoping they have a fathers day brunch, though, I might try Max for this as their other concept is also top drawer. Five Stars from me!"

  • "Easily accommodated a large party for a delightful Mother's Day Brunch. Great variety of food. Delicious! "

  • "I think the mothers day brunch was overpriced. This is the same buffet they used to offer for $25. On Mother's day it jumped up to $44. I guess it makes sense they would want to up the prices but also make sure to up the buffet to make it worth the price. Service was great, brunch was ok. I usually like to wow my mom with her Mother's day brunch...this time I don't think she was impressed."

  • "The brunch was great for Mother's Day. Service was very good. Ambiance nice. Yet, a little over priced for holiday (nearly $50 per person)."

  • "The food and especially the wine list are quite good. Good concept too, with a nice patio. But the service is lackadaisical at best; our waitress looked right at us several times over the course of about 30 minutes with empty wine and water glasses and no food and continued to mess around on her computer. And the prices were almost comically high. Small-glass wine "tastes" for $11, appetizer-sized plates for $15. Silly, and the reason that you can always get a table at this place."

  • "I like their lunch menu and the ambiance. It is typically quiet so you can have a nice conversation but that day maybe because of OTC it was full - noise level was still good. Of course the wine was good and hummus appetizer was delish. Definitely one of my favs for lunch with the girls! "

  • "Good ambiance, they were busy, the waitress forgot to put my order in for a salad, I waited 30 minutes for a house salad."

  • "Overall, a very good experience for Easter brunch. All the food was well prepared and presented except for the main dish, the round of beef. It was so overcooked and dry that it would make great shoe leather. We are fairly regular visitors of TTR and expected all the food to be perfectly prepared as usual and quite disappointed with this visit. I will say the sausage gravy is some of the best I have ever had, and l make a mean pot of this myself. We love TTR and this isn't meant to slam them, but the chef was definitely asleep at the switch when preparing the round of beef. The wine suggested by David was excellent, as usual for TTR! "

  • "We had a reservation but were seated 35 minutes after our reservation time. The service was very slow, though pleasant. The food arrived cold and we had to send it back to be heated up. The food itself was bland and uninspired. We were very disappointed because we have dined at the Tasting Room located in City Center and thoroughly enjoyed it, with good food and prompt, attentive service. I will not go back to the Uptown location and will instead stick to the City Center location."

  • "my wife and i dined here for valentine's day and it was above what i expected. the food was amazing and the service was perfect. we paid a little more than we expected but it wasn't by much. i would definitely recommend The Tasting Room" for any special occasion or first date."

  • "I went for Valentine's dinner. My table's server was awesome! I can't remember his name, but he took care of us. I would definitely go back to this place for dinner."

  • "We visited this restaurant for Valentine's Day and were satisfied with the service and the food. The wait staff were friendly and attentive - and a little too quick, so we felt a little rushed. The food from a set menu was tasty and about the right quantity. We were seated in a back room without windows, sort of an overflow area, and this was the only significant disappointment."

  • "Food was mediocre at best. All food was luke warm. It was not worth the $95 for dinner. The only plus wasnit was a beautiful day and the outside seating area was great. Would not recommend to ANYONE for Valentines day unless your just going for wine. However their wine list is way over priced."

  • "We visited The Tasting Room for the first time this past weekend and had a very good time. Our server, Cory, was excellent, the pizza we ate was great and the ambiance of the dining room was charming. We will come back the next time we are in the Uptown Houston area."

  • "The food was mediocre. They did not have our reservation, and service was poor. Wouldn't come to this restaurant or recommend for any special occasion."

  • "The Tasting Room is really more of a wine pub than a wine bar--and it's certainly not a tasting room. The wine list is ample if a bit pricey. Surprisingly for a place specializing in wine, no vintages are listed; our server had to go to the back not only to determine whether a listed wine was in stock but also to see what the vintage was. Good food, boisterous fun atmosphere, a place to drink or guzzle wine perhaps rather than to taste or appreciate or it."

  • "Food and wine are great, but appetizers are way overpriced."

  • "The food was really good and the menu was varied with many nice choices especially for small plates. We sat on a picnic bench which is not what I expected but I had never been there. They were not too uncomfortable. I think it is a great spot for wine, music and good small plates, very casual."

  • "The Tasting Room is a little piece of heaven. My guest(s) and I really enjoyed the evening. From the time we walked through the door customer service was on point. If your looking for great ambiance, customer service, amazing wine and friendly/fabulous entertainment. I highly recommend this venue! Kristine Mills performance was flawless."

  • "i was surprised at the noise level when walking into this restaurant. They placed our party in a private dining room which was perfect for my business guests. The waiter was very anxious to take our drink orders and then asked me for a credit card to keep the tab open. We asked him for another menu. I made a dinner reservation and did not expect to provide my credit card before I ordered dinner. The pork chops were excellent.. My recommendation - dine at the City Center location."

  • "Don't go on Monday nights. The place was empty. I had to go find the waiter any time we needed something. The food tasted like it had been cooked that morning and they just warmed it up for us that evening."

  • "Enjoyed the glass of wine I ordered. If a place has great wine, I would assume it had great food as well but it was nothing special. I also didn't understand the casual-ness of the numbers placed on the table for the food to be brought out. If I'm paying over $20 for a glass of wine I don't want to feel like I'm at whataburger waiting for my number to be called."

  • "I have went to the Uptown TTR a few times and I find it hard to keep returning. Service is bad! it takes a long time to get drinks and if you get one you may never receive the second! if you order food it comes out wrong, cold or never comes out at all! I have phoned and left a few voice mails asking to speak to management and have never had a call back!! Yet!!! there is a lot better places around the Galleria/Houston area to spend my money on and get better service, food and Drink!"

  • "I had the stuffed quail, which was very good. My husband had the pork chop, which was excellent - very moist and well seasoned."

  • "We use to frequent this restaurant a few years ago and remember liking the pizza and vibe. We have eaten here twice in the last two months and won't be returning. Although the tuna tare was very good the pizza was tasteless and salty. And poor selection of Italian wines. The service was poor both times. There are much better options for outdoor eating."

  • "My mother recommended this restaurant. Unfortunately, on the day I chose to go they were having a huge private party 2/3 of the seating was reserved. Waited at the hostess stand for 5 minutes until I finally flagged down a waiter who told me it was open seating and they weren't honoring reservations. Took another 25 minutes before waitstaff came to the table and took my order. Now I will say the kitchen did not suffer from the chaos in the dining room. The food was delicious, which is the ONLY reason I am willing to go back."

  • "Food looked good on the menu but it was sub-par when it arrived at the table. Pizzas are apparently popular but they're bland and boring. Didn't get past the first slice. the Cheese with figs was really good but too sweet. The parmesan truffle fries were a disappointment. The steak burger wasn't too bad but the fat should have been trimmed off. Don't think I'll be frequenting this restaurant in the future."

  • "We were happy that they didn't give us a problem even though we were a bit late. But once we sat down the nightmare began, the waitress was really rude, never checked up on us for water, not a single time. And when we did ask her she conveniently forgot, we had to get another waiter's attention. They were really packed but still doesn't justify our food not coming out for 1.5 hours, we just stuffed our faces with fries which instead of 1 order they gave 2 orders while waiting for our meal. The manager did come out and apologize for the time and gave us a complimentary wine but that didn't feel as good as the really bad service we got."
