St Pete Brasserie
As good as it gets! What can I say? If you love fine food with a French flair, you'll love St. Pete Brasserie. Everything we had was superb. From the braised short ribs to the cassoulet to the filet mignon to the amberjack, everything was amazing! They have a spectacular and affordable wine list, as well as great desserts. If you want an affordable, truly fine dining experience, try St. Pete Brasserie. You WON'T be disappointed.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMA lovely evening made allA lovely evening made all the more special by great food and service. It was a quiet Tuesday evening but that may not be typical during the season. We were staying downtown so location was perfect. We were three and everyone loved their dinners. The crowning touch was the trio of crime brûlée which we shared. We fought off the temptation to order a second, but it was that good.4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a wonderful dining experien.St. Pete Brasserie is one of my favorite restaurants. I return as often as I am in town. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious, and it is always a wonderful dining experience.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMI liked the option to getI liked the option to get a smaller portion of many main courses.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA gem in downtown St. Petersburg. This was our fourth visit to this restaurant and we have never been disappointed It is like eating in a French country inn. Food was very good and service was excellent. Like the BYOB aspect. We will certainly go back again.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMContinued excellence! As always, excellent. We took a friend there for the first time. Restaurnat packed, but our table was ready. Excellent 'energy buzz' noise level; diverse crowd, and the usual expeditious service and great food. Such a wonderful place--and well worth our drive from Tampa, which we do quite regularly!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMconsistently delicious foodconsistently delicious food and attentive servicee3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMNo surprise if you like duckNo surprise if you like duck confit and duck foie gras, this is the place to be.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMAlthough my in-laws had goneAlthough my in-laws had gone many times, this was my first visit. Fabulous food and even better service. I can't remember our waiter's name, but he was wonderful. Gave us great recommendations on both wine and food. I would highly recommend the salmon dish! Only bad thing was that they had run out of escargot and duck confit , both of which we wanted. We will definitely go back the next time we visit St Petersburg.3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMEuropean Dining in St PeteGreat place. Had a table for 8. Wait staff very friendly although was oddly having an Aussie waiter in a French Restaurant!
Food prep was customized to order, nice wine list which was VERY reasonably priced

A will do again, a must do again!!2/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have found that each timeWe have found that each time we came for dinner we are pleased with everything. The food is outstanding, the setting, the service, and the attention to details is great. The server remembers our orders and does not hover. The servers are well trained and knowledgeable of the food.
Thanks for being who you are!2/2/2013 12:00:00 AMIn addition to fabulous FrenchIn addition to fabulous French bistro fare, this place has the best burgers in the area.2/1/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is our third visit toThis is our third visit to St. Pete Brasserie and we were perhaps more impressed than the previous two times.
Our server, who waited on us at the bar during a previous visit was our table server. She never missed a beat and was completely attentive to not only our needs but those of the other tables she had. It was a "good restaurant night" with most tables filled and so there was good energy in the room as well.
We met the owner, who was as gracious as he was knowlegeable. His dessert wine parings with the triple creme brulee were exceptional.
We are not only "foodies" two in our group are in the business and so our attention to details are front and center.
Bravo to Chef Ward. Bravo to St. Pete Brasserie!1/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFive Stars All Around!!What a great place!! Very warm and welcoming atmosphere!! We had a large group with several out of town guests and were celebrating a family birthday. The food and the service were wonderful! Everyone was so welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that our dinner experience was memorable. Our server Jay was excellent (and patient) as he guided everyone through food and wine choices. The owner, the manager and even the chef stopped by to make sure everyone was happy! The group favorites of the night were the bone-in ribeye with bernaise sauce, the mussels and the duck confit! Thanks for a great night!1/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first experienceThis was our first experience with French food. Had heard so many things about it, just had never tried it. Oh why did we ever wait this long to experience this delicious feast!! The tastes and smells are incredible. We explained to our server that we were inexperienced when it came to french faire and she delightfully explained in detail the entire menu to a T. She made excellent recommendations and we had an amazing dinner! The food is paired so well with the side dishes and other accompaniments. Hands down, one of the best meals I have experienced in a very long time!!!1/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our second visit. This was our second visit. The first was so good we brought friends with us. Everything was great this time as well! Especially loved the steaks. We'll be back.1/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went to St. Pete BrasserieWe went to St. Pete Brasserie for the first time, and we very much enjoyed our meal. We ordered the duck confit, cassoulet side, brussel sprouts side, and pork special. The food was expertly prepared, very good. We also ordered the Pom Crush and a whiskey drink, both which were made very well. On this particular night, it was raining, so the restaurant was fairly empty, but made for a nice and enjoyable quiet evening. We will be back again!1/2/2013 12:00:00 AMA local favorite.Strong menu of French-inflected favorites (cassoulet, duck confit). The wine lounge, slightly separated from the quieter dining room, is a lovely space. The restaurant is pricey, but not out of range for the area, and the food is very solid--reliable, rather than innovative. Service is excellent. It is a favorite with locals of all ages.12/31/2012 12:00:00 AMVery Good! Nice night withVery Good! Nice night with good friends. Def will come back.12/22/2012 12:00:00 AM
