I had the fish special and my wife had the beef burgundy - both meals were excellent. The service was very good and the price point is good. We enjoy going to dinner here. It is a little off the beaten path but well worth it.

My local friend thought the duck was the best meal she has had since moving here several years ago. Salmon was excellent as well. Accordion player was nice French touch, but a bit loud for our table - closest to him. Would have been perfect if we sat in the back. We will return, no doubt.

We've lived in town for about 2.5 years and hadn't gone to the Brasserie, so we made it a date night. Our server must have thought we were neophytes and gave only the most basic description of the food and wines; he never fully owned a recommendation. We started with the carpaccio, which was soft, tender, and beautifully colored, but had so much parmesan and balsamic, that you couldn't really taste the meat. I ordered the duck confit, a special of the house, and it was over cooked. My wife ordered the mahi market catch and was delivered a tiny piece cooked to rubber; we sent it back and about 20 minutes later got a proper serving. We didn't get dessert, but did stop elsewhere for a better cocktail and a snack.

We had a 6PM reservation on a Saturday evening and the place was empty we arrived early. the Hostess proceeds to give us the worst table in the place next to an exit and doorway. We ask for a different table and she tells us they have other rservations. Well we also made a reservation. This is the second time we have been to the restaurant and the second time we got a hassle about a table. it is not a good way to start a nice evening. other than the hostess, we really enjoyed the foods service and atmosphere. we are debatting on a return visit as thie welcome really puts a bad taste in our mouths. By thw way we left a 7:20Pm and there were many empty tables that never had been seated.

The staff was very attentive even though it got very busy on what they thought was going to be a slow night. The food was presented very well and was fresh. I was so pleased that they acknowledged my small request through OpenTable comments, when booking, to provide a candle with our dessert. Awesome! My wife loved it!

Amazing restaurant. My wife and I can be very picky, from a Bad hostess right down to the freshness of an after-dinner mint. Great vibe inside and nice lighting. Very authentic decor. You can tuck into your booth and escape to a epicurean food mecca. we have not one bad thing to say.......freshest ingredients, innovative specials and drinks, Stellar service and knowledge. This gem fires on all cylinders. A must on any occasion but definitely one of St.Pete's Top 10!!!

Well executed French brasserie staples. From the starters through the entrees, plats du jour and side dishes. We had the roast chicken, the beef bourgignon and the fish of the day. All were excellent and just the right portion. The salads were delicious as well. We didn't have room for dessert, so we'll have to return and have a go at those items. We also enjoyed the selection of wines by the glass.

We had been meaning to check this place out for a while and just got to this past Saturday night. The restaurant has a great classy ambiance and is great for a romantic dinner. The owner came around to say hello to every table and made sure we enjoyed our food and everything about our experience. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu and wine list and was happy to let us take our time with an appetizer, salad course, dinner, and dessert. The food was amazing. I had the mahi mahi special which was delicious and he had the pork special which was even better. I think you could have cut that pork with a fork. It was tender and perfectly cooked. Overall we had a great time and will be back again!

St. Pete Brasserie has a friendly atmosphere. The staff is very competent and outgoing. The Bar is fun. Everything I have tried so far has been beyond expectations. The variety from Vegetarian to to Seafood and meat lovers is accomplished by a wonderful, knowledgeable Chef. If you would like a really nice evening with wonderful food, I highly recommend you give it a try. On the weekend, I would make a reservation. PS: You must try the Chocolate Lave Cake, to die for. But then, all the desserts are excellent.

French food at its finest in St.Petersburg. Always manages to impress me, and stands out from your usual suspects on Beach Drive in some cases. What I find a bit disappointing about the restaurant is it's Ambience & décor. The place could benefit from a re-model to lighten up the dining room. But if you're just in it for the food, you will be pleased!

We went on a Wednesday night early (5:30) before a concert. Had heard about this place from a good friend who said it is her favorite. We sat at a high top so it was a bit more casual, but they did have some nice tables to spice it up a bit. I think being an off night there just wasn't the buzz in the restaurant that I bet they get on the weekend. Plus, the bartender was our server and the service was marginal (I think mostly because it was an off night and she had the entire bar area). Food was very good and house wine was good. Can't beat the happy hour from 5-7 along with their pre fixed meal for $23 (which allows any main course, a soup, and salad). All in all I would like to come back to this place on a weekend night.

A lovely evening made all the more special by great food and service. It was a quiet Tuesday evening but that may not be typical during the season. We were staying downtown so location was perfect. We were three and everyone loved their dinners. The crowning touch was the trio of crime brûlée which we shared. We fought off the temptation to order a second, but it was that good.

St. Pete Brasserie was nothing to write home about. It was neither here nor there in terms of food, and was pricey for what we were served. I understand the vision of the restaurant, but their prices were too high. The food was good; there was nothing wrong with any of the dishes we ate, but nothing was delicious enough to go back so we won't. Our server was unattentive and slightly rude, providing slow service and rarely checking in on us. Our water glasses were empty almost the entire night. He went to his other tables many times, though. I think he decided because of our age (mid-20s) that we weren't going to tip, but you shouldn't judge your patrons on age. I make more than enough to give a 25% tip, which I would on V-Day.

The ambiance is good and the staff very friendly accompanied by a very good choice on the menu. What I chose was fine but my husband's main course of cassoulet was overcooked so not very moist. Recipes for cassoulet do tend to vary across France and more usually include duck and a mixture of other meats. This one only appeared on the night to include chicken. Management did respond positively to improve its presentation by replacing. Would visit again if it was closer but we had traveled 95 miles to try it out so it is likely to be some time before we re-visit. We did enjoy our evening.
