The Sultan's TentA belly fullWent for a mother's day dinner; restaurant was busy and the atmosphere is nice with the mock tents and bazaar theme. We had a four course prix fixe menu option with lots of choices.
During the dinner, there was a belly dancing show and they did a good job of getting the diners involved. It was entertaining and fun to watch while waiting in between courses. This is really the reason to come here, I think.
The food was decent. I had some chilled beet soup, crab cakes with frog legs, couscous royale and a creme brule dessert. Everything tasted good, but the spice level was toned down (or slightly overwhelmed with salt, not sure which) and the kebabs were a little dried out. Overall, decent Moroccan/French inspired food.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AM
