A word from The Sugarhouse Barbeque Company
At Sugarhouse Barbeque Company, our signature style is Memphis style barbeque. If you’re expecting ribs laden with sauce that masks the true, delicious flavors of the meat itself, you’re in the wrong place.

True Memphis style barbeque focuses on enhancing the natural flavors of the meat through a process called dry rub. A special blend of spices is rubbed into the meat, which is then slow smoked for several hours. It may be time consuming, but the payoff is worth it: the meat is infused with amazing flavor, and you’re left with the best slow-smoked barbeque you’ve ever had.

Casual dining with full bar & patio available.

Arriving at 8:30, we were quickly seated. Our waiter recommended the chicken wings as an appetizer, we ordered them, a full slab of ribs and half a chicken. Within 3 or 4 minutes our dinners arrived, and then our waiter stated he was going back for the appetizer. I realized that he wanted to rush us out at night's end. The wings were very dry. When mentioned, the waiter left. He came back to say they were on the house, that all the wings were dry like that. Even "on the house", we did not eat them. You could tell the meats had been sitting around for a while, as neither of them were moist and were a bit dry (but not like the wings!). Maybe if one was to eat early in the day, the food would be fresh and not taste like leftovers!

Having lived in Louisiana for 3 years we wanted to try your bbq and jambalaya. It was AWESOME. So flavorful. Someone else in our party had the French fries. I couldn't stop eating off his plate. Best French fries ever.

This was my first time at Sugarhouse BBQ. The restaurant was packed, but we had reservations so didn't have to wait to be seated. It took about 15 minutes just to get a drink but the food arrived very quickly. Our waiter never did show up after he delivered our food, but luckily we didn't need anything more. The food was great. Everyone was very friendly. I will definitely come back.

This is really good barbecue. Ambiance isn't awesome, but the food makes up for it. Really good prices.

This place gets good reviews so we decided to try it. However, I was not terribly impressed. I think if you like Buffalo BBQ you would probably like it. The buffalo chicken was too vinegary for me. The pulled pork was good. The provided sauces were mostly way too spicy for me. The Boston cucumber salad was good.

I go here at least once a week. I love the food. The people are very friendly. My only wish is that sausage was featured more on the menu.
