Out reservation was for 1:00 and we were seated at exactly 1. Asked for an addition of shrimp to a basic pasta dish for our son's meal and the amount added was substantial and cooked perfectly. All of our dishes were excellent. One small dissapointment, on the menu my wife's dish was supposed to come with creamed spinach. The spinach not only was not creamed but very dry, like frozen you can buy in a supermarket. Caesar salad was excellent. Steak cooked perfectly. However, the food was delicious and pleasantly arranged. The wine list, though I did not purchase any, was extensive in its variety. If you plan to take a hot date to this location, you might want to bring some mints or chewing gum for any post-dinner cuddling. EVERYTHING is garlic-y. I mean, after all, it is "garlic-themed". I tried some of the best chicken, off of my friend's plate. Personally, I order the Neon Ravioli, and boy...what a surprise. It was unlike any ravioli I've ever tasted. Even the birthday desert was garlic ice-cream.
A very unique dinner spot. We waited in the bar for our table and the musician was incredible. But I would come back to eat here if I craved garlic seafood.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMWe always have amazing mealsWe always have amazing meals while eating here, accept this time my only gripe, was that they were late seating us (went 15 minutes past our reservation), they sat us near the kitchen, which we hate, instead of an open cabana. Since we had reservations, I felt we should have been seated at the cabana. The hostest informed us that those who didn't have a reservation were waiting for a cabana, therefore they were to get one above us, which made no sense to me.
We were at the resturaunt for close to two hours, which is a really long time for us, especially as we were not drinking. Our food took 30 minutes to come out after our appetizers. The server was attentive, the busboy not was even more attentive, whenever we finished a drink or our bread it was replaced in under a minute. The bread an the bread sauce are to die for. The peach tea is freshly brewed and delicious. My friends and I all ordered different things with the hopes of trying more items. Every dish was amazing, as well as the side order of mashed potatoes. Excellent choice of dishes with something for everyone. Garlic wine is definitely worth a try as is the garlic ice-cream. You have to try to believe! We went on a quiet Monday night after Easter which was lovely. Service friendly and extremely helpful, even offering us tasters of certain dishes. It was my son's 7th birthday and all the employees made sure he had a great time and made him laugh.
