  • "This is a steakhouse - you know what you are going to get. The steaks were good, the sides were good. And generous. The wine list is decent. We ate the early bird special (we came from the east coast so it didn't seem early). Excellent value - $25 for a very good upscale meal. There weren't many customers in a very large place when we were there. So it was quiet, but frankly a bit depressing."

  • "I made reservations after receiving an email about this place and a 2 for 1 prime rib dinner coupon. When we got there, the hostess said that offer was no longer available, but she gave it to us any way. The prime rib was one of the best either of us have ever had. Will definitly go back."

  • "We decided too try this steak house as we live in Reno and look for places to take out of town guests. My friend and I shared a 14 ounce rib eye steak. There was ten dollar split fee. We order a wedge salad which was not a wedge but more like a lettuce salad with vinegarette dressing and a few sprinkles of Roquefort cheese. We barely finished our salads when our steak arrived. The streak was overdone, full of fat and a big disappointment. It was served with mashed potatoes, which were dry and tasted like instant. We had ordered a side of lobster mashed potatoes which were better. We did not realize the meal came with potatoes. My husband had fish, he said it was so so. There are better high end places to spend your money."

If you would like to see what a well run restaurant looks like, this is the place to go. Manager first class person who went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met.   • "Enjoyed the early bird menu as I had a group of 9 for a celebration dinner. Did not enjoy the fact that we were placed at two round tables that we had to ask to push together. I never felt like we were a single group, but two separate parties. That was the one disappointment."

Host and hostess went above and beyond to make sure we had a great anniversary and the dessert menu with so many choices it is hard to pick just one. Will be going back soon."

  • "Outstanding Restaurant! My dinner group of 12 thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The staff was very accommodating and attentive to every detail. Prices were extremely good for a fine dining establishment. Open bar including 2 bottles of wine, 6 appetizers, a few salads, entrees and tip was slightly over $700. I would've expected at least $1000. We'll be back!"

  • "The reservation was for 6pm for 4 but the Steakhouse had it down for 4pm for 6. We were seated at a round table and was knocked into several times by the carts once the waiter even said " are you kidding me" the food was pretty pricey but was really good."

  • "If you want to eat with a bunch of clowns, then go to the Circus Steakhouse. It's designed to be a steakhouse but really is a comical show of the worst the region has to offer. Elephants getting peanuts in the center ring have a more enjoyable time. For a fancier meal go to Golden Corral and save yourself 25 bucks a person."

  • "The host or manager got mad at us, and told us that there was no way that we could have booked a table in time.. I explained to her that I did it over a week in advance. She told me that she was stressed because there are more people than tables. The whole time we were there there were plenty of tables open. This was not an ideal valentines day reaturant. There was no ambiance or romance feel. The waitor barely spoke to us, and the others rushed around so quickly that I didn't want to get out of our booth. They also forgot to bring us our wine, and we had to ask for it again. I would not refer this resturant to a friend."

Finished it off with bananas foster and coffee. In Circus Circus casino with easy parking right across the street for free no less!"

When I plan a nice meal I do not want to risk a new place at full price, so I seek out special advertisements for new places. The food was good but not outstanding. I can get the same quality of food for much less money and the service did not make up the difference."

  • "Wonderful service and food from start to finish. Location is a bit quirky in that it's located in the Circus Circus on the same floor as the midway, so the minute you walk out you feel you are at the county fair. They should relocate this gem to a classier spot."

  • "Overall, I had a pleasant dining experience at the steakhouse. My friend and I had dinner before a show at the events center. We made a reservation and were taken right to our table when we checked in with the hostess. The hostess was very friendly and checked on us several times throughout our meal. I was disappointed that they didn't have a Moscato or a Riesling by the glass so ended up with a Blue Moon. I had a very hard time understanding our server. He was pleasant enough though. I ordered the prime rib which was good. I only gave it 4 stars because the food wasn't hot. The lobster mashed potatoes were good but could have used more lobster. Overall it was a good experience and I'd go back."

  • "Food was incredible, I had escargot, lobster bisque and off of their fixed Thanksgiving menu, filet mignon topped with lobster and scallops. Wow. My son had the snow crab at market prices ($50). They gave an insane amount of food, but all excellent. With tip, paid over $150, but well worth it."

  • "A superb experience! From our cordial greeting to our departure we were treated as though we were the only customers. The Filet Mignon was simply marvelous. On the other hand, the Prime Rib could only muster a "good". This dinning experience set a great tone for the rest of our evening."

  • "We were not expecting such a wonderful experience......we thought, oh Circurs Circus, probably won't be top rate. But we are new to the area and wanted to give it a try! Boy, were we pleasantly surprised! The service was outstanding right from the beginning, and then the food started arriving......out of this world! The onion soup was baked in an onion! The lobster bisque was wonderful with lots of large chunks of lobster! Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Everything was well paced and hot.....WOW! The chef, John Frank, even came to our table to ask if everything was ok..another WOW! We will defiantly return and bring our friends!"
