A word from THE Steakhouse at Circus Circus - Las Vegas
The Steak House has recently been named Top Las Vegas Steak House by Zagat. The Steak House has been thrilling diners with it’s top grade meats served by a friendly, gracious staff for over 29 years. The Steak House also features a glass enclosed dry aging locker. Top grade Midwestern beef is aged for 21 days at 37 degrees Fahrenheit & 85 percent relative humidity. This process tenderizes the meat & gives it a distinct flavor, which is further enhanced by preparing the beef over an open-hearth mesquite charcoal broiler. Once inside the dining room, you will feel right at home. Rural-themed paintings adorn the green walls. The room is rich with dark woods, diamond tufted red leather booths, creating a cozy den-like ambience. Dinners include fresh baked breads, choice of our famous black bean soup or house salad plus a Chef's fresh vegetable & choice of garlic mashed potato, baked potato, or wild rice blend. Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "We had one of the most amazing dinners ever! My husband LOVED his fillet and my grilled halibut was "melt in your mouth" good. The service wad excellent and when I forgot my credit card they tracked me down. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "After all these years the steakhouse at Circus Circus still provides the highest quality of service and great steaks and seafood. My entire family enjoyed their meals with the Black bean soup as a family favorite. Although the North end of the strip doesn't measure up to the rest of the strip, it is worth the trip to Circus Circus for a wonderful dining experience."

  • "Great food, great service from David, great night! The porterhouse steak was cooked just like I like it, and salad was delicious and fresh!"

  • "I went to the restaurant expecting the best steakhouse in Vegas. Not real. Service very poor and not fitting the type of restaurant you expect. And food just fair. Some things we experienced: the waiter didn't wait for all the party to have their food. They served beverage not politely (too much filled wine glass and water directly from a cheap plastic water bottle -unknown brand-), they seemed in a hurry to serve the dinner. Watery salad prepared ages ago. Meat, fair. I had a lobster tail that had been overcooked and steamed some time ago, cold and hard. The waiter didn't wait for all the party to finish up their food and the side order (mushrooms) seemed from a can. When we didn't want dessert they looked disappointed. Bill far too high."

  • "Aside from having to walk through the casino briefly, this was an AMAZING dining experience. The food was out of this world!!!"

  • "Old school Vegas atmosphere with top rate food. We ate here while the kids rode roller coasters and everyone left happy."

  • "We were staying in Vegas with friends with children and had a few hours for an adult only dinner. We chose The Steakhouse at Circus Circus for convenience and recommendation as one of the better ones in Vegas. It was a nice, quiet dinner with good service and great food which we all enjoyed."

  • "This is a great place to take a break from the sights and sounds of the strip. Quiet, relaxing dining experience with wonderful steaks cooked however you like them. We will return again! Navigating your way through the chaos of Circus Circus is the price you have to pay for this gem but it is well worth it."

  • "We were a little concerned with the location. We decided to go based on reviews. And we were not disappointed."

  • "Totally unexpectedly amazing food in a very unlikely venue. If you can persist through the hideous casino it will be totally worth it! The best steak I have ever eaten and very reasonably priced."

  • "Classic old school restaurant, excellent in character, food, service, I can picture Sinatra sitting by the fireplace, a "have to"while in las Vegas"

  • "Been to several steak places in Vegas, none compare to this one."

  • "The food was awesome and the value was excellent. We took advantage of their 32nd anniversary special which was wonderful. Our waiter was top notch and very knowledgeable! I highly recommend this restaurant when you visit Las Vegas."

  • "I have been to Vegas for years, primarily on business, but this was the first family trip. The setting, once inside the restaurant was old with charming decor of rich wood from years ago.Getting into the location is an eclectic mix so if you are accustom to upscale hotel environments, this one will not meet your expectations. We had the best steaks on the menu, which could be easily split between 2, but each of us ordered our own full course meal. I stated with a decent bottle of cab, which was only one pour from the waiter and then the rest is serve yourself. The steak was large, but for medium was cooked well beyond that stage. If you are looking to spend $300, go to Carne or Pallazzo for a better meal."

  • "Love this place...best in town. Had Felix again..best server in Vegas. Jumbo martinis..best in town and cheapest. Prime, bone in rib eye, lamp. All perfect. Comes with great bread, potato, salad and vegetable. Hostess very cordial as well. Forget about the overpriced steak houses in LV..ask for Felix..he has been there for 23 years."

  • "The Steakhouse is the diamond in the rough of Circus Circus. The petite filet was phenomenally tender and flavorful, and the mashed potatoes were equally awesome. Our server was friendly, polite, and prompt; we never wanted for anything. You get exactly what you pay for with The Steakhouse, and I will definitely be returning upon my next trip to Vegas."

  • "I have been dinning here for years, but my last visit was a disappointment. The care taken to the food was weak. The bread and crackers to start was stale, my creaser salad had way to much salad dressing, my ribeye steak was to be cooked medium rare and was medium. The desert was good, but the waiter was not providing any attention to us (party of two) once more people showed up at tables around us. Not sure I will go back, for the price of a ribeye ($52) you must get it right :-("

This is our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas...Please open one in Los Angeles..Thanks Again for another GREAT night out!!!!!!!"

  • "We take a trip to the Steakhouse every year when we travel to Vegas. Although it's not inside the most glamorous casino (Circus Circus), all of that changes the moment you enter the restaurant. The minute you walk in you can smell the deliciousness coming from the grill that resides right next to the dining area. The service is outstanding and the prices are more than resonable for such a grand meal. From the wine to the chocolate cake for dessert, don't miss this gem when you're in Vegas!"

  • "great dinner. The host and waitress were great and knowledgeable. We had ordered roses from another company, the roses were already delivered and displayed on our table when we arrived. The host greeted us by our names. The food were absolutely delicious and much more than we could eat at one setting. The waitress and her assistant prepared the food to go in a very professional manner. overall, this was a very memorable dinning pleasure for us."

  • "Great food. Wonderful service. Steakhouse vibe without the stuffinees!"

  • "I had read about this place and decided to try it out on our trip to Vegas. We wanted a first class steakhouse experience, but did not want to pay a fortune to get it. We had their anniversary special, which was an eight ounce filet, soup or salad and choice of side. The filet was the largest eight ounce steak I had seen in a while. The taste was delicious and the dry aged beef would almost melt in your mouth! Now, walking in Circus Circus to get to THE Steakhouse we all felt a little like one of those "Booking.now" commercials and wondered what we had gotten ourselves into, but THE Steakhouse was everything we had heard and read. If you are looking for a great steakhouse for a great value, I would definitely give them a try."

  • "We read some of the reviews and went with the Circus/Circus Steakhouse WOW! food was exxcellent and price was fair. I had the rib-eye on the bone and my wife had the lobster. All of the sides were great and included with the meal. Wine list was so/so but we will be back next time in Vegas."

  • "Friendly staff, nice decor. Food was ok (medium rare steak was cooked medium) but not worth cab fare from strip."

  • "If you want an old school steakhouse at a reasonable price, this is it. No yuppie food here. The staff is well seasoned and solid. It's like going back to the good old times with meat aging in the locker. The smell of beef cooking and pictures of famous bulls on the wall. Loved it all and wouldn't change a thing."

  • "I was very pleased with the food at this restaurant. The staff were a bit stuffy, and were less than accomodating when asked to change our table when the restaurant was completely empty, started our experience on a very sour note!!!!"

  • "The food was prepared to perfection and the service was top notch. The price was very reasonable. Restaurant has received many well deserved awards. Only issue is that it is located in Circus Circus which is showing its age. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great steak house in Las Vegas."

  • "Service was very average. The restaurant was not crowded but our waiter was not very attentive. The steaks were very very good. This place has an old time steak house look and feel. You would never know you were in the middle of a casino."

  • "THE Steakhouse came highly recommended and rightly so. The food was incredible. The service was exceptional. More food than anyone can eat. Best meal we had in Las Vegas."

  • "Attention to detail lacking waiter seemed disinterested 3 of the six steaks needed to be returned dissapointed and not worth the money . This used to be a go to not any more time for a change"

  • "Came here for a great steak dinner one night during my bachelor party weekend and that is exactly what we got. I ordered the rib-eye. I have had a lot of great steaks but this was the best. It was a thick piece with just the right amount of marbled fat and cooked to perfection. Service and ambiance were great as well. Do not be turned away just because it is in Circus Circus. This place is no joke."

  • "This is real old fashioned dining. Not what you would expect in the centre of Circus Circus.A real gem of a find. The food is delicious. Perfect service in old style dining ambience. Would definitely eat here again and recommend to friends."
