Diner Reviews
  • "Wanted oysters for our anniversary and when they came they smelled and tasted bad. Sent those back and got through my so so French onion soup but my wife's warm spinach salad was a cold soggy, salty mess! The side of asparagas had no flavor. How can you screw up steamed asparagus? Prime rib was okay, but by this time in the meal I was done. Saw another table walk out and another tBle sent good back. Couldn't get out of there fast enough!"

  • "I can't say enough good things about the Steakhouse at Excalibur! We ordered a special cake as a surprise for the happy couple. We were seated promptly in a private room for the dinner. Our server, Gregg was very attentive and made sure that every thing was just as we wanted it. We've never had better service. The cake we ordered was perfect. Just great, personal service. The young man that kept our water glasses filled and the dishes cleared was wonderful as well. Very polite and unobtrusive. The food was wonderful. Tasted great and very appealing to the eye as well. I've never seen prime rib that thick before. I recommend The Steakhouse at Excalibur to all who want a fine meal in Las Vegas."

  • "We got the $36.99 special where you get: a soup or salad, a meat entrée with 2 sides and a dessert. The food is great, the service is outstanding and the $36.99 price is unbeatable. This is a definite stop for those on the North end of the Strip."

  • "Dined here again for that special dinner. The food was once again excellent as always, being hot as needed or cold as needed. The steaks were just as ordered and with the nice seasoning blend's. We love the atmosphere here, quiet yet with that right sense of noise. The staff is also what makes this place wonderful, they know their products, help you as needed, but gives you that time to yourself'. This time we drove in from out of town just to have dinner here, making it that kind of place."

  • "Food was awful and very bland. No taste what so ever. If your gonna put a high price on a piece of steak or prime rib. Make sure u season it or rub it down correctly."

  • "For the price we paid, along with the great service, it was worth dining here. So many choices in Vegas, so I don't know if I will ever eat here again, but I would if I stayed at Excalibur or someone in my party desired to."

  • "Food was ok, bone in New York was not well aged. Onion rings were excellent. Mushrooms looked like canned! Had to ask for steak knife. Salmon was OK. Cheesecake was very good."

  • "My husband and I chose this restaurant for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The service was very professional and the food was excellent. We started with the Applewood Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. The shrimp were large and plump and very tasty. I would order this if you love shrimp. I also ordered the Iceberg Wedge. I was not sure what to expect but it too was delicious and very fresh. Huge portion size too! My husband ordered the 20 oz Rib Eye. He loved it! I took a taste as well. It was very tender and almost wished I had ordered that, until I tasted my Pork Chop with the apricot chutney. Oh my gosh! What a delicious item! I loved the sweet and tangy flavor with the pork. There are so many choices to dine in Las Vegas, but I recommend this one!"

  • "Relaxed atmosphere allowing for conversation. Staff was attentive to dining needs. Quickly changed out our table linens, when we inadvertently spilled a glass of water. French onion soup had just the right amount of sherry--not to much and not to little. Ahi tuna was done to perfection at rare. Filet, also rare, was nicely done. One disappointment is that everything is ala carte; did not even get a potato with your entree. However some of the sides, like asparagus, were of shareable size. Ordered a Spicy Bloody Mary before dinner, which was extremely spicy. It was very good. However if you do not like hot, order the non-spicy version."

  • "Everything was just good. Nothing really stood out as amazing or worth the hundred dollar bill we spent. I'd been better off going to outback and enjoying the awesome ranch dressing. Nothing bad about the place, just nothing worth raving about."

  • "So, I scared myself by reading a bunch of mixed reviews just before our Valentine's day dinner with another couple. I'm not sure if they just totally exceeded my expectations, but they really are amazing! The food was great! The ambiance was perfect for a romantic evening and the service was top notch. This is not a normal evening out for us, as it is pricey, but so worth it!!"

  • "Didn't wait long - nice restaurant, friendly staff. We went specifically for the steak. Good choice of sides and great tasting. The steak tasted like it came off an assembly line - very dry and no flavor. Very disappointing."

  • "Didn't want to drive so took a chance on the hotel's steakhouse. The reviews were pretty mixed between good and not so good. My experience was that the service and food were nothing to rave about, but at the same time not so bad that I wouldn't go back. The recommended Ribeye steak was just OK. As a good ribeye is my favorite steak I was a little disappointed that it was just OK and not great. The salad and soup were good. The wine selection average. Service on a scale of terrible to great was just "good". Sorry to be in the middle on all this but the restaurant was also in the middle!"

  • "I was very pleasantly surprised at this place as all the other restaurants around it were more for the quick eats. We came here for a birthday, just the two of us, and were truly treated like royalty. From the moment we arrived, were were promptly seated and welcomed by our waiter. Our bottle of wine came out very shortly after we ordered and was served in a proper manner. The food was very delicious and they were even very good in warning me of any non-vegetarian items i may have ordered and carefully selecting an alternate that would work. though they were not very busy that night, I couldn't imagine the noise getting too much higher as it seemed well insulated for sound. All in all, a very nice experience."

  • "I went to the steakhouse for a good dinner. I was disappointed in the quality of the food. My stuffed baked potato looked like it had been cooked many hours earlier and then kept warm. It was dried out and had lost it's flavor. I also had onion soup and it pretty much looked and tasted the same, like it was prepared hours beforehand. The service was good but the food poor. There certainly are better places around Vegas for this price. I would not recommend this restaurant."

  • "On the booklet the hotel gave us with promotions and discounts when we checked-in, on the December promotions they had a fixe menu for $36.99 with entry, dinner and dessert and it didn't specify "not valid during holidays". I told the server and he didn't care just told me again that it was not valid during holidays even if nothing was saying about excluding holidays and it was new year's eve. We went there because of the promotion but ended up paying over $400 dls 4 adults and 4 children."

  • "The food was fantastic! The portion sizes were unbelieveable: the chicken pot pie could feed 4 and the lumpcrab topped burger was gigantic. The lobster bisque was tatsy and had plenty of lobster bites-not just shredded pieces. The wine list had great selections and they did not guuge you on "by the glass prices" or small pours. I would definately go back there again...it was a perfect place to bring in the new year!"

  • "We went here new years eve and our anniversary food was lovely but my husband didn't realise he would just get a steak he thought it may come with extra s ie fries or veg but I had the pot pie and it was delicious and we got 20% of the bill so was well worth the money would def eat here again"

  • "Medium rare Flat Iron steak was served well done and the subsequent replacement was on the extreme side more towards rare and rubbery without a nice sear, Selections on side dish was not the best---could stand to add broccoli and/or cauliflower. Waiter stated that stuffed potato side came with "sour cream chives etc" in reality they were a bit dry and were stuffed just with bacon."

  • "We had not gone to the Steakhouse At Camelot before, but with there being very few places to eat out for Christmas dinner we decided to give it a try. Well, we were very satisfied with the food, service and atmosphere. They had a special Christmas menu that was very affordable. Will go back there again."

  • "The service was great (but potentially because we were one of the few people in the place). Enjoyed the food - went mostly because we had a $50 redemption. Satisfied hunger prior to heading to a show. Definitely more options on the strip, but if you're close and want to grab a good and quick meal, this is a good place to go."

  • "We were quite impressed with the high quality of food served (we had NY and Salmon) here, the lobster bisque is one of the tops in the world, but we were most impressed and appreciative of the fairly priced and good selections on the wine list. (we drank a Dancing Bull Zin) That in it self will cause us to return on our next Vegas visit."

  • "There were three of us, and we all agreed that the food wasn't great. Two of us had the pre fixe menu. The French onion soup was just okay, as was the steak. The desserts - creme brûlée and chocolate cake weren't very good. We left most of it behind. The steak was decent, but it's not that hard to cook steak. Overall, I would not return and would pick a different steakhouse on my next Vegas trip."

  • "Our second time at this restaurant. Reasonably priced fine dining for a change. Both visits scored 5 stars for us. We'll be back."

  • "The food was good, but overpriced for what it was. Everything served a la carte, which makes prices worse. For that kind of money, there are better dining choices in Vegas."
