Waitress was not so pleasant telling us that they will need the table in 2 hours so we shouldn't take too long during dinner (even though the restaurant was barely half full and remained so up until we left). Service was slow and the waitress was not too pleasant to deal with either. The appetizer rum spritzer drink was delicious and a nice start to dinner. The lobster nachos were good but small in portion. The ladies ordered off of the Dame's Dinner Club menu. The salads were nice, the pasta and the fish entree options were delicious but quite small in portion. The fish was unique in flavor. The desserts were yummy for strawberries and sabayon. Tables full of stylish women chattered happily at almost every table. Next time we will get there earlier for a better indoor table - while the pation was lovely, the traffic was a bit too loud to be enjoyable. The food was yummy and our server attentive. Mom scored big w/ the crabcake benedict (amazing!). Dad got the biscuits, steak and gravy dish which was also tasty (although he said he had to stop eating the biscuits because they were too heavy). Unfortunately my brioche french toast was lackluster compared to the other two dishes. Not only was it boring, but it got cold & hard quick.
The coffee and oj were both fantastic. But having to wait over 30 minutes for your meals? Not so hot. Especially because the restaurant was no where booked to capacity (despite the hostess saying that she could not seat us outside bc they were full). Food was great, very good Chicken and Waffles and quite possibly the best bloody mary I have had in some time. Server didn't seem to know the brunch menu very well and wasn't around very much.
