The Dinner was delicious. For example my swordfisch cooked at the point. Although we are very critical about the food we eat and have problems at most restaurants, we have always had good experiences at the Spinnaker. Most of the time, the food, especially the seafood, is very good, and even exceptional. Sometimes there are misses. For our dinner, the seafood appetizers were all terrific. Unfortunately, the clam chowder tasted like thickened chicken broth and was a little salty. I tried the paella for a change, and it didn't knock me over, but it was pretty good. My wife claims her grilled mahi was one of the best meals ever, and she is more particular than me. Our two guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Our group varies up to 6 but this time only 4 of us attended. We took the ferry from San Francisco to Sausolito having a Bloody Mary on the way. The resturant was buisy but by booking through table for 4 no problem. We were seated at a table near the corner with outstanding views of the San Francisco skyline, alcatraz island, and much more. we stared with Mumm's , a good value, then had another with lunch, we had seafood salad & 1 green salad all good, then 3 sea bass, excelent & 1 scalop very good. a bottle of coopola pino, very good.
