Enthusiastic and helpful (even if inexpert) service. Noise level through the roof. Free parking in the lot across the street. One star off food, for a tasty butterscotch pot de creme which had a grainy texture due to overheating eggs, but overall excellent quality and generous portions. Salmon en brodo over leeks and fresh spring peas was heavenly, served rare as specified. GF had a delicious hanger steak. Gouda/bacon mac & cheese with toasted breadcrumbs was the bomb. The fresh brewed iced tea mixed with lemonade was very refreshing and worth the wait. Be sure to ask for the bread with honey butter, a true taste sensation. Their signature dish is fried chicken and it was delicious. My friends and I shared (and loved) a butterscotch pot de creme for dessert and it was wonderful. We enjoyed our dinners and I had the fish special which was delicious. Our server was very nice and likable as were the bussers and hostess. We enjoyed wonderful service, not only from our gracious server, but also from the other employees at the restaurant. Additionally, all three of us loved what we ordered (steak, salmon, pork chop). My husband's grandmother is almost 89 and I made a request in my reservation regarding her mobility. They were not only very accommodating, but she also had a wonderful time.
