We couldn't order more wine with dinner and the manager had to come to our table and ask us what we each had so he could split the bill. It was obvious that the waitress was busy with another party in a private room because she walked back and forth near our table. The food was good, but overshadowed by the poor service and I resent the 18% gratuity tacked on for our table of eight."

  • "There were 7 of us for dinner. We had a very nice table in a corner of the room with great ambiance and plenty of space. We were able to converse with everyone at our table without a problem. The food was good, the service was good although the food was a bit slow in arriving. We will go back to this restaurant."

  • "I have dined here for lunch and dinner. Lunch has been fine. I had dinner there twice last Feb ski trip. First experience was great so I dined there a second time sane week. I ordered the same chicken dish. It was so salty that it was not eatable. I dined at this restaurant again this week with my family. My husband and I both had the Italian Wedding Soup. It was so salty that neither of us could drink it. My main course was also very salty - both the chicken and the mushroom sauce. Told the wait staff. They didn't act surprised and the chef didn't come out to tell us they tasted the food and whether they agreed or disagreed with us. I think the chef has a salty palate or is not supervising his cooks. I don't recommend this restaurant"

  • "Unfortunately the food was cold. The "rechauds" did not work properly. Creme Brulee was out at 7.00 pm. Quality of the food was good. Used plates were not removed from the table quick enough and cutlery was not replaced. We had to steel it from another table. Seats at the window are quite cold, we had to put on a coat."

  • "We had high hopes, but were underwhelmed. Restaurant was oddly empty for Fourth of July week, but we were still seated right next to a family with loud children. We were moved when we asked for another table, as did another couple, but noise was hardly better. Menu was very short and not very appealing. All four of us were unimpressed by our meals. Won't be back and can't recommend it, which is a shame since there are terribly few fine dining options in Snowmass."

  • "We were up for a night in Snowmass and needed a good place to eat. The Kitchen was recommended and so we made reservations and went over. The atmosphere is modern and nice. Our server was new and there were some struggles with getting him to remember we were there, but he was courteous and apologetic when he realized it. The food nothing special, but not bad either...a little disappointing for the price, but overall it was ok. But what really stood out to us was the service of the restaurant manager. This guy was incredible and did everything possible to accommodate us and make us feel like celebrities. He knew their wine list cold and recommended some fantastic wines. He really made this experience for us."

  • "Service was poor; food was good. We were seated immediately after walking in, but were not given menus or a wine list, even though the restaurant did not appear that busy. Waited several minutes & then asked someone walking by. Ordered a glass of wine & a beer; got 2 glasses of wine. Once we got it, food was good, but bland. Then, we waited for several minutes with nothingn in front of us, and had to ask for the check. Overall, would not recommend."

  • "Chef Jami Flatt must leave all diners with a memorable dining adventure! As I write this, my taste buds are happily recalling the sublime explosion of flavors we experienced in each bite of the marvelous dinner we enjoyed two weeks ago. Everything was outstanding, the atmosphere, the service and most importantly the food. We had the extraordinary privilege of eating the Colorado Lamb, done to perfection, with roasted eggplant purée, olives and red wine shallot jam(a concoction both imaginative and divine!), Seared Skuna Bay Salmon with red quinoa sauté, baby bok chou and smoked tomato sauce, the Wedge Salad and Dreamsicle Crème Brulée. We'll be back to try the crab cakes we heard rumours about from other raving fans and revisit that lamb!"

We were seated off in a corner, though the restaurant was virtually empty, even though it was the Sat night of a holiday weeked. Space overall is appealing, though our corner was overly lit and provided little ambiance. Waited 45 minutes for appetizers (again, despite empty restaurant), and only received them after multiple trips to the hostess station to check on status. Our waiter, while friendly at first, disappeared for most of the rest of the meal. The Westin really needs to get its act together (heard similar complaints about service levels at the rest of the hotel while searching for the valet parking attendants when we pulled up)."

  • "Newly modernised restaurant in Westin hotel. Good ambiance, stylish decor. We visited on an exceptionally cold evening and our table by the window was a little chilly, but during the day would have had a good view. Service was friendly if a little uncoordinated. We would have appreciated more time to savour our appetiser before being served our entree. The crab cakes were tasty and would have been even better with more dressing - on the side rather than on the leaves. The salmon was well cooked but I was disappointed ti find bitter tomato skin in the quinoa. Our side of broccolini came out late when we reminded our server. Extensive wine list including by the glass."
