Starting Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at The Setai Grill, our team of international culinarians, led by Executive Chef Mathias Gervais, brings an “East meets West” interpretation of a modern Asian-inspired prime steakhouse.

The Setai Grill’s bites, small plates and entrees are inspired by the robust Asia-Pacific flavors, along with our own vibrant surroundings of Latin and South America, while using only the freshest and finest seasonal ingredients. The Setai Grill’s signature premium meats, sourced from the finest meat purveyor in the country: Pat LaFrieda & Son, will also tantalize guests’ taste buds.

  • "We were blown away by outdoor courtyard, menu selection, and culinary experience. Our expectations for this "grill" we're far exceeded! Show up hungry, small plates and apps should not be skipped over although entrees were the stars! We had black cod (mouthwatering) and skirt steak (the smell alone was delicious) and ate every bite! The staff was very attentive though not overbearing, and left us feeling well taken care of. The drink menu was superb, very creative and eclectic options that we thoroughly enjoyed!! Fantastic meal, we strongly encourage you to try it!"

  • "The Setai Grill has one of the most fantastic outdoor dining areas I've seen in South Beach. Lights are low in the evening ; huge beautiful dark water feature surrounded by By beautiful tall palm trees and the table nicely spaced . DJ's music Playing in the background very hip. Each course we enjoyed was delicious ,however very very tiny. This does not come as a surprise however because our waitstaff was clear on what to expect. There is an Asian reference to everything and it all made for a beautiful special evening out."

  • "While the reviews prior to making our reservation seemed positive, we were highly disappointed with our experience. The appetizers were mediocre - overcooked and overpriced, for entrees 3 steaks were not cooked as ordered - we sent 1 back and our 2 guests flipflopped their orders; scallops, priced at $29 was a mere 2 scallops!! Dessert portions were too small for sharing, the Irish coffee was incorrectly prepared and cold-even the waited should have realized this and not served it! We had pre-dinner drinks at the bar, advised the bar we were taking our table and returning to pay, while seated, they chased me down to pay the bill! This was an awful experience from start to finish, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my dog!!!"

  • "We were disappointed because we were the only ones in the restaurant and the garden i had heard about was closed. Order TAP water because they charged us $10 for a bottle of water. Tap water wasn't even an option (would you like sparkling or still water? ) i hate when they do that! Food was good. We asked where the chef got his reblouchon cheese to male the tartiflette and he said he used robiolo cheese instead! Don't say that its a tartiflette de reblouchon then!!"
