"Depressing, old blue leather furniture, strange staff. Asked for bread and was told we would get three types. Only got two and was very strange. 2 of us 4 barely ate meal. Bisque looked and tasted identical to chowder. Food was lukewarm."

"This reminds me of where we would go with my dad's clients or bosses back in the 70s. Formal, steak or seafood, lots of butter. It isn't bad food, but it isn't foodie food. Our server, Nadia, however, made all of it worthwhile. What a treat she was! Having tried a number of non-franchise restaurants during our stay in Williamsburg, I must say this one was better than most."

"We made our reservations at the Seafare because we wanted fresh seafood and were not disappointed. Service was very good and nice and quiet so conversation between the four of us was easy. Would recommend."

"The Seafare is a somewhat older, more established restaurant than many along the Route 60 corridor, and is reminiscent of the grand old days of restaurant dining. Where else lately have you been offered sorbet to cleanse the palate between the salad and main courses? You will be at Seafare. I greatly enjoyed the Large Ocean Scallop Sauton, with perfectly cooked scallops, mushrooms, vegetron and pimento in a wine sauce sauteed in a ceramic dish. This creates a uniquely balanced set of flavors that are truly in harmony and add to the overall enjoyment of the scallops. And, of course, there was Tatiana, our waitress, who is a pure delight and whose impeccable servive added considerably to the enjoyment of the meal. GO THERE!!!"

"Good place. Had reservations for 10pm after a conference. The weather in Williamsburg was terrible and the conference center lost power cancelling the conference. We called the resturant around 7:30 pm to see if we could get in earlier. The ownership did an outstand job accomidating us and getting us in and served. My hats off to there great customer service"

"The food was prepared perfectly. Service was fantastic. We were shown three different tables before we were satisfied and they acted like this was just a practical matter (every where else you go it is like asking to move a mountain and they get an attitude). This was our 3rd time at this restaurant and we have never been dissappointed."
