The Roycroft InnGood foodThe buffet had a nice variety of choices. Everything was fresh and nicely presented. Service was excellent.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMOld Feel America!A great place to take a out of town friend to experience Lunch in a by-gone time! Take in the Roycroft's Copper shop & make an afternoon of it.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDining on the porchEnjoyed a wonderful time with a friend for dinner on a week night. It was very quiet but only one waitress! She covered all the tables admirably and made us feel welcome and comfortable. My Red Snapper & fellow diner's salmon and vegetables were perfect! Risotto was creamy and well-flavored, too. Only negative for the wonderful meal was the garlic mashed potatoes. They had a strong taste like instant potatoes, much to my surprise. Not much garlic flavor either. The "instant" or artificial flavor was definitely a distraction.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMbrunchWe have been coming to the roycroft brunch for 2years now, one week before mothers day to beat the mothets day rush. All 8 of us never have a complaint, which is often hard to do. The variety of the brunch is wonderful and it gets us to try new things. The staff is delightful. We will be going back.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMA perfect place to honorA perfect place to honor a friend's Retirement, friendly service, good food and a pleasant atmosphere.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWent for a large family groupWent for a large family group brunch (17 people!). Delicious food in a beautiful location. Something for everyone. And the string quartet adds a very special touch!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful brunchAlways enjoy the Sunday brunch. Drive from PA about 4 times a year to the delightful Roycroft Inn - our favorite restaurant in NY. Never the same items - always something a little different. But don't spread the word, it will be harder to reserve our table by the fire!!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyed as everything wasEnjoyed as everything was great One of our favorite places to dine.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall, very loud noise fromOverall, very loud noise from two large party groups marred the experience. Service also had a hard time keeping up with the crowd. Menu was varied and enticing, ambiance (except for the noise) was fine. Portions were very large: for example, a "steak salad" was so large that I had to forego half of it to have room to eat any of my main entree. The salad, though good, was inferior to similar salad I can get at a hometown restaurant. Main entree, a version of osso bucco with pasta, was also good but huge, and much remained uneaten. I suggest they offer sharper knives, especially with meat dishes, instead of the very dull ones we were given. Half price "slivers" of dessert cakes were a very good idea. Grade: B+4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThis lunch was the best lunchThis lunch was the best lunch we have ever had! The food was the most delicious food ever! Service was great. Outstanding place!4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe best salmon my wife hasThe best salmon my wife has gotten anywhere. Had been told to try this place years ago and we finally did for my birthday. One of the nicest birthday dinners ever experienced. The atmosphere was really cozy sitting in front of the fire. Loved it!4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was great (alwaysThe food was great (always is). The atmosphere is wonderful! Always enjoy going there!3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMHistory with Great MenuSeveral separate dining areas offers variety in atmosphere from a very warm arts & crafts "library" to the airy Larkin Room overlooking a garden. In the summer the Peristyle offers outdoor dining overlooking the National Landmark Roycroft Campus buildings. Though a National Landmark with original Arts & Crafts furnishings, this isn't a "tourist-y" place where the food is second to the building. Menu is always interesting and first class. A nice touch is the "lighter fare" selections -- still interesting items but smaller portions and a lower price. We like the "library" room with its fireplace in cold weather but head to the Peristyle for outdoor meals. Being a porch, it's a comfortable than a patio or sidewalk cafe for lunch or dinner.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMbest. brunch. ever. The Roycroft Inn is one of my favorite places on earth. The Sunday Brunch is unsurpassed by any other area restaurant at this price level.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat setting to enjoy a mealThis is a special place, particularly for the overall scene. You will appreciate it more if you're able to spend some time learning more about the Roycroft movement and enjoying East Aurora.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMA couple's dinnerFrom Jacob the bartender to Lynn our waitress, our evening was wonderful.
