"We could not have picked a better choice for the best birthday/family reunion dinner and relaxing evening in the garden by the pool under the stars ambience with the most attentive wait staff and incredible top-notch culinary experience! How often do you get 4 different entrees ALL cooked to perfection? The Delmonico steak was heavenly; the Cobia divine; the Short Ribs exquisite; and the Chicken delectable! And the sides all complimented the entire meal. The beignets w/ dipping sauces were divine as was the chocolate mousse soufflé! We dined like "Royalty"!"

"We were in town for a brief lay-over and it happened to be our daughter's 7th birthday. The food and atmosphere were outstanding and the staff made our daughter feel like a princess! The wine list was excellent and made the parents feel pretty happy too! We highly recommend this restaurant!"

"I had visited the Royal earlier in the week and was struck by how beautiful the area for outdoor dining was. I made reservations for Friday night for me and my girlfriend, but when we arrived for our 8:30pm dinner, there was some techno party that was getting fired up behind the pool. No people there, just rib-rattling bass. We sat down near the pool at what would have been a perfect table with a love seat. But we couldn't even hear the waiter, so we moved inside. The noise wasn't nearly as bad, and the inside of the hotel is nice as well, but it was disappointing. Be sure to ask about the super bass before making a reservation."

"This was our first time at the Raleigh and what a delight it was. The ambience of dining poolside in the lush foliage was amazing. We had outstanding service from our waiter and we took his cuisine recommendations. The serrano salad was extraordinarily tasty. We had an exquisitely prepared yellowfin tuna and a cobia fish. For dessert we had the beignets and they were the best I have had including in NOLA. We loved yhis place so much we returned twice for a great breakfast which included an omelet with fresh salsa. We will be back next trip to SOBE........................."

"This restaurant was amazing. I made this reservation based on the description and that it was an outdoor restaurant just made it wonderful. The waitstaff was amazing and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a laid back atmosphere to talk with friends or people watch"
