The only "complaint" that I have is that it wasn't as good as the tasting I went to there last year. The tasting was one of the best food experiences I've ever had. There was simply no way the regular menu could hold a candle to the special menu. The food was wonderful !! Had a chicken dish and the salad of the day. Our waiter was nice but did not come back to see how our meal was and forgot the bread until the meal was almost over.. The only big drawback is that it is in a cruddy strip mall location with a view of the parking lot. Our server was great! The menu seems almost identical to the dinner menu, but it is creative and varied. To begin, cocktails were excellent. The bread basket is devine! The beet salad should be mandatory to order: it's perfect. Very ample portion and just enough dressing. The crab cake sandwich is a winner! Jumbo lump crab and not filled with bread crumbs. The bun was light and tasty. French fries are evil they are so good. I'm not a fan of the Mac and Cheese at all, but my guest loved it. The vegan dessert was better than expected and actually worthy of a repeat order. This trip I was meeting a good friend for a leisurely lunch. We both opted for the omelets - which I have to say was one of the best omelets I've had anywhere. We had 6 diners at our table and we all ordered something different including the prix fixe menus and loved every bite! Fresh ingredients, imaginative but not over the top menu, flexibility in accepting alterations/special requests, good service, and a fun,,relaxed ambiance make this an excellent choice. If I had one suggestion, it would be a wine list with a little more breadth, focused on finding excellent wines with a little better value to offer greater range.
