The RockfishInconsistant menuMenu stated an accompanying starch with my entre, but it came with a totally different one. The one it came with was quite good, and I was satisfied with it. When I pointed this out to the waitress so that she could inform other patrons, who might not appreciate the difference, she was unaware the menu was different. I picked up a take along menu as we were leaving, and it listed yet another starch with the entre in question. They need to "get their story straight"! All of the food was good.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMDining in AnnapolisThe Rockfish is a little gem tucked away over the harbor bridge in the bustling port of Annapolis. Although the front of the restuarant could use a landscaper, and maybe some funky fish artwork, it did not deter from the quality of food inside, nor the experience in cooking fish by the Chef and his team. The appetizers were delicious, creamy crabmeat dip with old bay salted pita, crispy, fresh calamari, and smokey wings....tantelized the tastebuds, for what was next to come. My main entree of rockfish sat on a bed of creamed corn mash and had a really fresh taste; presentation was very nice. Dessert was excellent and made on the premises.
Thank you for making our son's graduation dinner tasty!5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, calsual atmosphereThe rockfish was quite tasty. Thank you Rockfish5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways dine early before theAlways dine early before the crowds get in. Normally not busy before 6 PM.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMRockfish got a pretty goodRockfish got a pretty good review in the Post so we were looking forward to it. The ambiance was nice, with a large bar separated from the dining room by a glass wall, which keeps the noise down in the dining room. The service was wonderful. Drinks reasonable ($8 or 9 coctails, not the $11-15 we're seeing too often). Menue is somewhat limited for entrees, but enough variation for 4 of us. Food was well presented and good. We shared the crabcake dinner and the waitress was very accommodating...did not make us feel like chinces.
We'll go back.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the few restaurantsOne of the few restaurants in Annapolis that truly pays attention to where your food comes from. Sustainable and conscious sourcing, certified "True Blue" meaning that all the crabs they serve come from the Chesapeake Bay (as opposed to Indonesia where many of the crabs served here are imported from.
Lots of creative and interesting menu items and preparations. Would definitely go back!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
