The River HouseA Nice EveningThis River House restaurant looks very appealing, especially at night when the stings of lights highlight the architecture of what appears as a grand old house It would have been very disappointing if there was no restaurant in the house to enjoy. The restaurant does not disappoint, either in ambiance or culinary delight. The menu is not long, but sufficient for each varied taste within our group. The described ingredients of the soup of the day and salad selections were intriguing and did not disappoint. The main course selections chosen by our group were cooked to perfection for all but one. One beef dish was requested to be more well done and was returned quickly with satisfying results. Since there was not much selection I would probably not go back because there was only one or two items that were of interest. The presentation is very nice and I guess that is what you pay for.
