  • "We have dined here many times since they opened one year ago (6/13) and it keeps getting better. Service is always top notch, the food is always interesting all well prepared. The menu appeals to foodies and also has a hamburger and a few simple things. The mixologist is amazing with all mixes and juices house-made each day. Bonus: Nice parking lot!"

Then I had to flag another waiter down.to ask for a.glass of wine later. My friend's mac and cheese was not cooked even to al dente and the sauce was uninspired. Bottom line : Go for drinks and.skip the food."

  • "We were there midweek for an anniversary dinner. The bar was busy, and we chose to eat outside because it was still 80 degrees, and the arbor was inviting. Tuesday was Tikki Day so lots of silly cocktails on offer, maybe that's why the crowd seemed so young, which is unusual for a restaurant of this quality, and great to see. Food was good, (my wife's Cobia was better than my scallops), service was excellent, with some great wine suggestions, not too much $$. Would go back in a heartbeat."

  • "My husband and I visited earlier this week for our anniversary. The bar has a great happy hour atmosphere (The East Ender was awesome...somewhere between a gin and tonic and a mojito). We had the "Chicken n Fixins" for dinner (his choice, not mine...I wanted the quail, but you have to pick your battles) and while I'm generally not a fan of fried chicken, this was outstanding! The sides were great too - unique flavors! One thing to note with this special is everything comes out at once. I think next time I'd ask if they could bring the biscuits first so we have something to snack on while waiting. Our server was on top of things but not a hoverer. If it wasn't raining we would have loved to try to patio. Will definitely be back."

  • "The Revelry never disappoints. Have dined here three times and stopped many times for drinks. The bar is great; the bartenders really know what they are doing. Service is fast and efficient in both dining and bar. The new outdoor seating is a must during great weather. Our server on this recent evening was both personable and efficient with an excellent sense of humor. Her recommendations were on the money and the suggested wine from JR Vineyards was an excellent choice. Inside dining can be a bit noisy but adds to the overall ambiance of the place."

  • "Food was excellent. The scallops were excellent. I thought the Duck appetizer was great, my partner not having ever had duck found it's flavour not to her taste. My greens salad was very fresh and a good mix of lettuces. The Beet salad was a surpsrise to see on a menu and was again well prepared and very tasteful. All of the staff was wonderfull. Everyone was friendly and professional. Just enough attention to our needs but not overwhelming. We will definitely return."

  • "I was a little disappointed with the food despite what I had heard. Our food arrived not as hot as I would have liked it. The homemade doughnuts were great and the home made lemonade! Fried green tomato BLT had very little bacon and I was glad I had ordered an extra side of it. Even my coffee (the several cups I had) was served Luke-warm."

  • " Great time. It was a perfect restaurant for a Father's day dinner. Food was delicious. The waiter's and the server's were always pleasant. Always smiling and they were right there to fill our water glass it seemed like every three minutes. Great service. Will be back soon! Nice job accommodating five people.   • "Awesome place to eat! Took my wife for our anniversary, waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgable. I got the duck which was amazing, the wife got halibut which was a chef special. Fish was slightly undercooked (needed another 45 seconds on the grill) so we sent it back and was done perfectly the second time. They took our appetizer off our bill for the inconvenience and offered us free dessert for our anniversary. They went above and beyond in their customer service and the food was excellent. It is pricey for an every week dining option but for a nice night out you can't beat it! Will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone and everyone."

  • "I went to The Revelry with my girlfriend before we move apart for post-graduate jobs. It was wonderful. I had the Lamb Shank and she got the Scallops. Both were delicious. They offered a quite extensive wine list which was amazing, and the service was top notch. Very friendly staff."

  • "I've been here many times and have had great service. This was the first time I've sat outside and the service was so sloooow. Drinks took forever, the staff brought other tables' food to us 3x. When our dinner finally made it, we had to remind them they forgot the deviled egg apps. BUT they made it all "right" by comp'ing the eggs & coffee. Good people, but outdoors may have put extra strain on the kitchen and staff."

  • "The dinner was delicious, from appetizer to Entree, but pricey. There are other comparable restaurants in Rochester that you can dine at and save money. Ted was our server and he was outstanding!! He made excellent suggestions and was attentive without being annoying. In the future, I would skip dessert. The dessert sounded great, but in the end, was nothing special. "

  • "The food was well worth a return visit. We especially loved the fried green tomatoes and chicken fried oysters. The halibut was wonderful except I would leave off the charred eggplant. It was a puree and just tasted burnt. The watermelon basil sorbet was fantastic. The smoked spaghetti squash is REALLY smoked. I hated it, but my dinner party and family (Brought home leftovers) loved it. We were first seated along the railing upstairs, which was WAY too loud on a Thursday evening at 6:30. The bar is LOUD! Then asked to be in the back room, but cold air was blowing on my friend so we moved again to the back corner. That was great. Had nice light from the windows, not cold and not loud. Dave was our server and excellent. "

  • "This was our second time dining at The Revelry. We were seated at the exact time as our reservation. They have a very unique menu with lots of low country food. They change the menu every 6 weeks. The food was delicious and our waiter provided excellent service and answered all of our questions. Loved it and will definitely return. "

It was treat to find that the menus had a Southern touch with choices such as fried oysters and tempura fried oysters. Portions were just the right size allowing us to have dessert as well.   • "We really enjoyed our dinner. Duck tacos were well done with a fear combo of BBQ and pickled peaches that really worked well together. Quail and waffles also fired on all cylinders mixing sweet and spice in a unique combo. Definitely pushe the taste buds a bit. Wish bread came with the meal and wasn't extra but that's about the only complaint I had. Oh it's noisy too with db ratings in the low 90s on abusy sat night. Ouch! "

  • "This is a beautiful space, so well done! It's vibrant, fun, sexy dining experience. And the staff from hostessing to wait staff was very friendly and fun. Excellent Blanc de Blanc and generous pour. East Ender cocktails were a big hit for all who ordered (and tasted). Warm cheddar dish was wonderful as were duck tacos. The complimentary cookies at the end were a very nice touch. Rochester is very lucky to have this place. "

  • "Food was great and good cocktails, down side was our drinks to a long time to arrive and then starters arrived just after that. As soon as we had finished starters our main meals came , we had not had time to finish our cocktails so were weren't ready for a glass if wine with dinner. We were in and out in 45 mins and didn't feel that anyone had been in charge of the flow of the dinner."

  • "My parents, girlfriend, and I went to the Revelry to celebrate my birthday, and I am very glad that we did. Our server, Heather was terrific. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped steer us in the right direction with every choice that we made. The manager James was also very friendly and attentive. Their signature cocktail menu is quite inventive and full of surprises, and each one that we ordered was exquisite. The food was to die for, and we enjoyed every last bite. While it may be on the pricier side of restaurants in Rochester, it well worth it. Bravo!"
