The Restaurant at Weekapaug InnWeekapaug Inn for dinnerWe shared a special dinner with another couple and the very competent waitress picked up on the celebration of two birthdays. We were surprised when our deserts included a birthday message written in chocolate! The restaurant is gorgeous and the view was worth a million dollars. The menu choices are few, but everyone found something to be excited about. The food was creative, delicious, and wonderfully presented. My only complaint is that the portions were small for the money and seemingly sacrificed for the art of the presentation. Not one of us is a big eater and I did not feel full when we left. With the most inexpensive bottle of white wine on the menu, the check, with tip, was nearly $300.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat spot, great service! From the moment we arrived until we walked out the door we were treated like royalty. The food was superb and the environment perfect for an early spring "summer tease" dinner. Great location.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMLadies' Lunch on Derby DayWe had a wonderful experience, appreciated meeting the General Manager of the Inn, as well as the tour of the gorgeous guest rooms by Grace, who was delightful.
All the staff we encountered were both friendly and anticipative, clearly well trained in providing personalized service.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were celebrating our AnniversaryWe were celebrating our Anniversary, and the Inn helped make the evening perfect. We were seated at a table with an exceptional view of the pond, greeted by name and wished a Happy Anniversary! Highly recommended!3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMReopened Weekapaug Inn Fabulous! This was our first trip back to The Weekapaug Inn since its several years-long closure and transformation. EVERYTHING in the Inn has been tastefully updated with modern amenities and sophisticated taste without losing its century-old charm. We had both dinner there and, because we were staying at the Inn, breakfast the next morning and both meals far exceeded our expectations. My wife had one of the specials, a monkfish and I had half portion of the most delicate gnocchi with a lamb confit...everything locally sourced. We split a scallop appetizer and strudel desert. Breakfast was similarly excellent with orange juice squeezed only after you order it! The staff was wonderful and both meals were perfect in every way.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMTHe Weekapaug inn is back!We have spent the last 6 years summering in Weekapaug and always hear about the wonderful times spent at the Weekapaug Inn as well as the fantastic service and food. So, we have been anticipating the re-opening of the Inn for quite some time and the Inn lived up to all of our expectations. The service and ambience was fantastic and the food was equally impressive. I would like to see a little larger selection in the future but I am certain adjustments will be made in season. Looking forward towards our next time there.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMSunday Brunch a must do at the InnSpectacular!! Classic elegance of the 1940's meets the modern day world. How fortunate for us to be able to get a real feel for how the Inn looked and felt in its original hey days yet still benefit from all of today's modern conveniences. The food was absolutely delicious. The service left nothing to be desired and the view from every seat in the dining area was breathtaking. We opted for the $44/per person brunch and was not disappointed. The flavor and the portions were over the top! Best Sunday Brunch I've had in years! Absolutely worth the drive from wherever you are!! Bravo to the Weekapaug Inn!!3/10/2013 12:00:00 AM
