Hope we caught it on a bad night, but the restaurant was drab and deserted. The lighting was raw and uneven, as I stared into a too bright lightbulb and my dinner companions had a difficult time reading their dim menus. The wait staff was properly attentive, but the food was slow (surprising since we were the only table dining at 8:30 in the evening) and was adequate but not exceptional or memorable (except for the gingered asparagus). San Diego has too many other vibrant choices to anticipate a return visit to this venue.

The food and the waiters were excellent! Our waitress even brought us champagne and a chocolate cake since we were celebrating my fiance's birthday. The restaurant was very romantic and the staff really made it a special occasion. Thanks again W!
