"This was our first time at the Restaurant since it stopped being Bice. Except for the fact that there were fewer customers, nothing seems to have changed. The menu is the same, the food is still great, the service is still very good, it's still got an excellent wine list with many outstanding affordable choices, but it's less crowded and quieter."

"The food was outstanding. Great Seabass and pappardelle. A little disappointed that on a Saturday night at 7:30, there were only 4 table in the restaurant. Made me think that the food would not be very good. However, the food and service was great.I have stayed at the hotel a few times and never knew there was a restaurant attached. I think they need to do a marketing campaign."

"The place was a nice find. Recently, this restaurant had a change of ownership and our waiter told us that it had even even taken over by the hotel it is in -- The Hotel Talbott. The chef and staff remain. It was very uncrossed which the waiter indicated was very different from how it had been previously. The hotel is apparently not advertising this place at all. The food was very good. The best dish of our group's was the ravioli stuffed with beef and veal in a light mushroom sauce. Delicious! The baby arugula salad with lemon citrus dressing was fantastic and the menu was varied and good. Nice wine list for a smaller place. Overall a very good meal. We would go back. Enjoy!!"

"We were looking forward to this as we had been fans of the former BICE which re-opened in the Talbott hotel under a new name with the same menu and chef. WE ordered:roasted beet salad and beef carpaccio with a truffle mayo. The salad was wonderful,the dressing light and lively. The carpaccio was beautifully sliced and presented and the arugula salad in the center of the dish was zesty and complimented the beef. But if there was truffle in that mayo we sure didn't taste it. Our entrees arrived when we were only half through the apps and were dreadful. Pasta Amatriciana was a dry grey dish of meat and noodles with zero flavor. The Osso Buco looked great but tasted like an old stew with no herbs or subtlety. Clearly we passed on dessert."

"Very nice restaurant. I read reviews where complaints were made about the staff, but I don't see it. My server was very nice. There were mixed views around the table about the cuisine. I made plans to propose, and he was very helpful. He was very discreet when asking me how I wanted to do things, and he was very patient with my group of six undecided guests. The entire restaurant saw me propose and the room swelled with applause. Bice will always be home to one of the most memorable nights of my life. I'd recommend it to anyone."

"Food was very average. Service was good and wine list was nice, yet a little overpriced. At the end of the meal, our server informed us that the restaurant's credit card processing terminal was down and they were unable to accept a credit or debit card as payment for our meal. We were offered the sole option of utilizing the restaurant's ATM. Although they gave us $5.00 to cover the ATM fees, our fees actually came to $5.50. Not a big deal monetarily speaking, but just an inconvenience that left a bad taste in our mouths at the end of an already average meal. It made us wonder if the credit card terminal was really down or if this was just a ruse by trhe restaurant to take in more cash.....guess we'll never know."
