    Every Sunday from 11:30am to 3:00pm

    With a menu designed to incorporate dishes from all over the world, guests can choose from a wide variety of options including American, Chinese, Thai and Indian. Chefs will be cooking at live stations, preparing traditional favourites like waffles and omelettes as well exotic options. If it’s more local fare you’re after, choose from a selection of local crab, oysters, mussels, gulf shrimp, and home-smoked salmon from the seafood bar. Finish the meal off with a decadent dessert prepared by our pastry chefs paired with free-flowing Taittinger champagne.

A word from The Restaurant at The Setai
It is the vision of the open kitchen to showcase a menu which is inspired by different cuisines which fall under the umbrella of the “Cuisine De Soleil” or the Sun Coast of Europe. The menu is based on regional Mediterranean specialties, which range from Spain to the Cote D’Azur, to certain regions in Italy such as Tuscany, Puglia and Sicily. In addition, classics dishes from different Mediterranean countries will be represented as well. The Concept, called “Mediterranean Fusion” onwards, will be descriptive of the ingredients utilized, as well as the cooking technique implemented to execute the idea.
The cooking techniques will be implemented by a “Plancha”, equivalent to a Griddle, in order to fortify and extract the versatility of flavors and aromas of the aforementioned regional ingredients to their fullest potential. The utilization of a “Plancha” is a very Mediterranean method, popularized by most countries of that region.

  • "I do realize it is a challenge for such high end restaurant to offer a menu at $ 39 but it is not serious to join the program and disappoint clients with "sample" portions. Great quality but sufficient only if you already had dinner. The service was absolutely poor: the waiter (not fully fluent in English) was inattentive and intrusive at the same time: trying to be facetious and taking confidence, but inefficient, slow and careless. We had to wait 40 minutes for our bottle of wine (the food was already served) and eventually he told us that the ordered wine was out of stock. No manager nor supervisor in the hall. We have been regular clients for at least five years, but returning after few months we have noted a disappointing decline"

  • "The food was great and the service was perfect...unfortunately for my date and I, we sat near a window overlooking Collins and about 10 minutes after we sat down it started to smell like garbage ...we knew that the smell was coming from outside the restaurant and they didn't seem surprised ...we moved to a different table and had a beautiful time...the drink were insanely expensive however i think that I was charged over 100$ for 4 vodka martinis and a bottle of sparkling water"

Choose from multiple food stations, including seafood, breakfast, cheese, salad etc. Disappointed that they toned down the Indian and Thai food station. It was the best, no more fresh naan....no naan at all. But enjoy unlimited servings of food and champagne, mimosas and bloody Mary's. Enjoy the live jazz band in the courtyard, a perfect setting. A must brunch experience, especially for a perfect occasion."

  • "This has been an outstanding experience. The food is exceptional especially the beef Tagore and the lamb chops. They dripped with flavor and the meat was so tender you hardly had to chew it. The starters were good. I loved the beef carpaccio but my friend wasn't crazy about the salmon with caviar and creme fraiche. The shrimps starter was also full of flavor but maybe it would've tasted better if not fried but sautéed. Now the slamdown was dessert! The chocolate soufflé and apple tart were just simply the best and unlike any I have had in the hundreds of restaurants I had experienced worldwide."

The food is consistently great and the attitude of all the employees is wonderful. The manager Pascual and the staff provide a service which sets the standard for all restaurants in town.   • "To start, I had asked for a window table when they called to confirm the reservation, but we were seated at an interior table in he corner which seemed acceptable as it away from others and quiet. No need to change. Service was what you would expect, attentive yet left us alone and provided reasonable recomendations which we followed. All was going well until a large family was seated in the "private" room behind us which both preoccupied our server and disrupted the once quiet area. Wish they had closed the doors to their room, but it didn't happen. We finished our anniversary dinner with a nice desert where the staff had written Happy Anniversary on the desert serving plate - nice touch which didn't cost them anything as desert was on us."

  • "A farewell dinner for a friend was a major disappointment. Everything was ok up to the ordering of the food. After that it was a disaster. The wrong appetizer was brought to one of the guests, the food took forever to arrive, the waiter disappeared for very long stretches of time. Apparently he was the only waiter, apparently supported by trainees. Overall a bad experience , aggravated by how expensive everything was."

  • "The service here has declined considerably. Wobbly table, no wine list provided at open. I felt like we were at an Olive Garden. Servers were either non existent, or tripping over each other. One server spilled an amouse Bouche while I ordered wine from sommelier. Apps were delivered before those plates were cleared, creating a tumultuous environment. Foie gras delicious. Pasta agnolatti tiny. Lamb tagine adequate. John Dory not special. The main server and sommelier could see our struggle with the service, but when a 20 percent tip is automatically included ( as is custom in Miami), they didn't seem to care. $700 later, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who has an expectation of a fine dining experience."

The hostess made a big deal about our request to change table even though it was almost empty at 7 PM and we were asking for the same size table. There was no background music when we arrived and the lighting in the front dining room was so bright it was like being at Walmart. We asked them 4 times to dim the lights and they never did. It was an awful ambience which despite the good food ruined my evening when compared to our previous visits."

  • "For $85 per person with a 20% gratuity added, it is not worth the poor service and food quality plus a $15 valet parking fee. I had better quality food at Ritz-Carolt with lower price. Paying $85 to eat oatmeal, bowtie pasta, not too good sirloin beef? There was not crab leg as advertized. Water glass and empty plates were slow to fill and taken away. The indian food section is totally not worth the money. Oysters were so low quality."
