WEEKLY SUNDAY JAZZ BRUNCH Every Sunday from 11:30am to 3:00pm With a menu designed to incorporate dishes from all over the world, guests can choose from a wide variety of options including American, Chinese, Thai and Indian. Chefs will be cooking at live stations, preparing traditional favourites like waffles and omelettes as well exotic options. If it’s more local fare you’re after, choose from a selection of local crab, oysters, mussels, gulf shrimp, and home-smoked salmon from the seafood bar. Finish the meal off with a decadent dessert prepared by our pastry chefs paired with free-flowing Taittinger champagne. Sunday Brunch at The Setai is $85 per person and $40 for children under 12. I was expecting a better Chinese dim sum..
There was only 3 varieties of dim sum- hardly anything to write home about..
The other fares- Thai, Indian was more varied..The displays were lovely and teh dessert section was very lovely..
I was surprised at the high bill-I thought brunch was 45.00 and it was 85 instead.
Quote a difference.I was fairly certain (errro made) that brunch was not 85.00 per person.I would continue to viist Fountainbleu if I want godo Asian dim sum brunch..

The outside of the hotel doesn't speak to how beautiful the restaurant is once you go inside. The chefs were extremely friendly and the staff was very attentive. The food variety was so large and tasty that I became full after the first two plates. The presentation of the food was also excellent & the chefs gave great descriptions of the food. The jazz band was great as well. I will definitely come back.

Had a 9:30 PM reservation. We arrived 30 minutes early. Only one table is occupied but they could not seat us. My main entree of salmon was far too much to eat. It was very good but what a waste to throw away.

One of the best restaurants we have eaten at in south beach. Appetizers were well prepared (hamachi, dim sum, scallop with avacado, chicken in wrap), noodle dish with chicken and shrimp was amazing. Service was excellent as well. All around a fantastic restaurant. Would not go here if you are looking for a party scene...

I am fine with expensive dinners, but artistry of presentation was apparently more important than the food itself. Portions were tiny and for the most part flavor and quality while good, was not what I expected. Other little annoyances as well. Overall, not wowed.

It reminds me of some classier restaurants in Chicago and New York. Everest, Tru and Charlie Trotter's come to mind. The waiters are terrible. They do not understand English or Spanish and are essentially clueless. The waiters were constantly confused about what dish went to which table. They gave our entree to the wrong table, having already served us our wine pairing. We waited an additional 30 minutes, sipped on the wine and when the food finally came, we had no more wine. The waiter rudely said, that wine was for this dish and we kindly told him they had taken our food to the wrong table...He said they would serve us 2 more glasses but they would charge us. The price was high and they charge 20% gratuity automatically...

My wife and I went to this restaurant on a Sunday night. It was quiet, and the place was half empty. The food was fair, and the service was surprisingly slow. Our bill, including mandatory 20% gratuity, was $200. For a similar experience with better food at half this price, I would recommend China Grill.
