Went on a FRIDAY NIGHT. Seaeood was good although I didn't have crab legs. Sushi, mussels ,clams were good. The shell on shrimp were very soft, not appetizing at all.Other than that just another fair casino buffet. What happened to the Paula Deene flavors, we were looking forward to tasting this style.

Paula Deen has been pulled from Harrah's. Her social views may be off, but her food WAS fabulous. Now all you have is an Old Country Buffet trying to be Paula. Close the doors. Without Paula's food, this place is just not good.

It was great to see the crab legs come back to this place but the real value is the large variety of "made to order" fish. The only thing that might be improved on is the dessert selection.

The food and service at Harrahs- Paula Deens is awesome!!! I'm just really let down that Harrahs would drop Paula Deen for something that was said 27 Years ago. If we were all judged for something we did 27 years ago nobody would be standing ..... NOBODY!

the desserts we had were excellent outside of the sugar free cheesecake. That was terrible and did not even taste like cheesecake. I had the pecan pie. it was the best I have ever had. My friends has the butter rum cake and the chocolate cake. Both were excellent. Our server was so sweet and friendly. thank you for a great time.

I read all the prior reviews and were hoping that the restaurant was having an off night when those people went, but I hate to say that I agree with them. Went on a Saturday night at 8PM. I opted for the buffet while my boyfriend ordered the BBQ trio. He was extremely happy with his meal, but I was not happy with the buffet. None of the food was "hot", just warm. Tried the cajun shrimp and it was overcooked and mushy, the mac & cheese was gritty and the steak was grissly. I expected so much more from this place as I am a huge fan of Paula Deen.

I've recently been to a number of regional casino buffets, and I was anticipating this visit to Paula Deen. I assumed that there would be some unique Southern choices. The waitstaff started out good, but quickly turned neglectful. It wasn't a particularly busy Saturday night, but our server was MIA. we all needed drink refills a number of times for our party of five, but the server was hiding in the back room. Getting the bill was a minor ordeal. The food? Mediocre at best. Nothing was bad. The steak and shrimp were as expected..actually the steaks were better than my expectations for a buffet. Everything else met but didn't exceed expectations. The choices were adequate. Does it pass the "Would I go back" test? Answer: probably not.

My family (9) went to this restaurant on Mother's Day, and were promptly seated as scheduled. The food was very good, but the ambience was much more casual than we thought it would be. We expected a crowd, which there was, but the food lines moved pretty well. It was a good meal, and we enjoyed ourselves.

Service was very good. Nice decor. As of April 1, 2013, this restaurant no longer offers a breakfast buffet. I think the prior option of menu or buffet was a LOT better. I noticed a lot fewer guest than they had during breakfast hours when they had the buffet. Overall, it was ok but a little overpriced. Did not see one breakfast item that included bacon, sausage or ham.

Hostess was rude. Server was awesome. Buffet was average. Dessert was horrible. For a restaurant that is backed by such a well known cook, especially for all her sweets, the desserts tasted as if they were commercially prepared and presentation was lacking. We had mentioned our reason for having dinner there was 2 50th bday celebrations. Not even a Happy Birthday was mentioned. No complimentary cocktail, nothing! Won't be heading back there any time soon. Should have trusted previous reviews.

Easter brunch was wonderful. Many choices & most everything deliciously fresh. We loved the decor...kind of french country/shabby chic.Dining room was beautiful. We will return. Service was great/friendly in every aspect, except for our WAITRESS!She was never busy, but neglected our table of 4.We could see her in the waitstaff area chattering away.We had to flag down a hostess to get help a couple of times. Our waitress put our check down before we were mid way through our meal.We ordered cocktails prior to meal.We wanted another cocktail, after she put our check down & disappeared. She never again checked on us, other than when we asked someone else for help.Never got another cocktail.Had to ask another staff member to tell her we needed coffee

My first experience was off the menu and that meal was good however I took my family to the Easter brunch and was very disappointed. The food was bland, not seasoned at all. The Mac and cheese, carved beef and asparagus was awful. The selection of food was average for the price. I expected a lot coming from a place that carried such a big name like Paula Deen

Was a busy night; nonetheless, a little messy. There was a mess around the dessert area and no spoons for ice-cream. Several people were standing looking for some help and no one responded. Several got their spoons from the salad bar area (soup spoons). Not an overly friendly atmosphere like you would think when watching Paula on the Food Network. The food was good but expensive and not the type of place we can afford to go to very often (maybe once/year).

Waitress (Joan) was rude. We entered buffet during lunch hours but because we were still eating, 30 minutes later during price increase for dinner guests, waitress took away our bill and re-issued it at higher price. We told her that we have dined here many times and this was never the policy. No manager available (we were told she was in a meeting) to rectify situation. We did not know which was lunch food and which was dinner food and asked waitress if lunch food would be back out for those dining prior to 4 PM. She did not know and for the 3rd time issued us a check. This final check was changed back to lunch price. Waitress came to our table 5 times speaking of this which totally ruined our meal.

I wasn't happy with the food here. I ordered off the menu and got the coconut shrimp and a side of Mac n cheese. The shrimp was chewy (pretty bad for the $18 price they charge for 5 of them!) and the Mac n cheese had a weird gritty texture to it. Service was fast and friendly, though. And restarts is very clean and decorated nicely.
