"We have been going to The Restaurant for over 15 years. It was always a very special experience. Unfortunately, it is no longer. The executive chef left several years ago, taking any talent and creativity with him. The food was mediocre at best, what you might expect at large occasion, convention type food. Filet was overly sauced, and salty. The waiter was uninformed, unprofessional, and was the first sign that the night was going to be a disappointment. We will NEVER return."

"They must have a new chef. Menu was full of weird combinations. Chef is too esoteric. Our pasta was great, but the sauce was "spicy". Far too spicy, and absolutely unnecessarily so. The tuna tartar was fine, but it came in a soupy sauce that ruined the dish.

The ambiance and the setting are wonderful, as are our memories of several past wonderful meal. It's a serious shame that a chef, trying to be "over the top creative", can ruin a wonderful restaurant. We will not return until there is a new chef and a more friendly menu."

"The mahi was not nearly as good as the grouper I had on my last visit. Although beautifully plated and accompanied by micro greens that looked and tasted excellent, the fish itself was fairly bland rather than bursting with flavor. On the other hand the herb encrusted ahi tuna was superb. The strawberry shortcake was disappointing. Although promised that it would be exceptional, it was lacking in strawberries and flavor, although the sorbet that accompanied it was excellent. The service was outstanding."

"The appetizers and entrees were excellent. The grouper was perfectly prepared and one of the best I have had. The recommended wine - a stags leap cabernet made especially for the Four Seasons, was outstanding. The hospitality, from the hostess to the server was first rate. Overall, an outstanding meal and evening."

"This was a return visit here and it did not meet opur expectations. We found out later that it was under new ownership. It was a nice hotel restaurant but not the fine dining experience we had enjoyed before."

"Although pricey (what good restaurant in Palm Beach isn't), it was one of the best meals we've had recently. The fact that they focus on bringing in seafood fresh from local waters is a huge advantage. You're in for a treat!"
