Private Party Facilities: The Panther Pub is a lighter fare dining venue at The Reluctant Panther. Warmly lit and comfortably furnished, the Pub is used for special events and private party bookings. Business dinners, wedding rehearsal dinners, and "after parties" (the ideal thing to do after a rehearsal or wedding reception) are particularly effective in The Panther Pub.

"Extremely Overpriced for what they offered

250$ for Monkfish and 5 small Scallops it is just not worth it. Plus

some local cheese for desert ...... It was really overkill .

Did recommend the restaurant in the past but will not do in the future"

"Service was attentive but not intrusive. Restaurant was near full and it still provided a level of privacy for each table with an acceptable overall noise level. Food was fantastic from start to finish."

"Gem of a restaurant in a town known for outstanding restaurants. Nice range of entrees that are elegantly prepared and presented. Outstanding, thoughtful service. Great wine list. All in a tastefully decorated dining room that is set up for an intimate dining experience."

"Took my girl friend here for valentine's day, there was a "special menu" for $45 a person that included an appetizer, entree, and desert. The quality of the food was un-paralled but the serving size left more to be desired. The service was outstanding but the atmosphere was just a little too up-tight for both our liking. All in all if you are a high class dinner who is willing to put up $100+ for two people and walk away hungry this is the place for you. I tried to go over the top for v-day and it kind of back fired..."

"I cannot not write enough great words to describe the Reluctant Panther Restaurant! The restaurant is very quaint with two fireplaces and only 20 tables, it's decor is perfect for a restaurant this style nestled in a beautiful area in Manchester. The service was incredible, there was always a member of the waitstaff around and they were very attentive. My boyfriend and i were blown away but this restaurant, I had the spare ribs which melted in my mouth and my boyfriend had the lamb, which was excellent as well. For dessert we shared the "Coffee and Doughnuts" and creme brûlée both were incredible! It is very expensive but very much worth it. GO! you won't regret it!!"

"We stay at the Panther almost every year. The restaurant is always very good - this year (January 2012) was no exception. The filet mignon was delicious and they make the best creme brulee. The service is excellent, as is the decor. I would recommend this restaurant highly."

"We went here to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday with another couple. It was just what we were looking for. The food was outstanding and their wine list was spectacular for a small Vermont inn. Atmosphere wa quiet but not stuffy. You could have a few laughs and not disturb anyone. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves fine food as wine."
