The Red DoorSunday brunchMy family and I love the Red Door for brunch. It is a really nice and relaxing place. We always have fun. I've already recommended it to many people.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways terrific! You can't go wrong with Red Door! The food is amazing.. the greens are fresh picked from the Red Door's own "mini-farm".. their brussel sprout appetizer is a favorite. I had the Pork Schnitzel (twice..) and was very impressed. Excellent wine list and very cool wine bar.. warm blueberry bread pudding with bold strong coffee for dessert was a perfect finish. Ashley and her team of wait staff are warm and friendly and very much care that you had the very best dining experience possible. My son is a vegan, and they went out of their way to add choices to his menu.. great place!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this restaurant!I have been wanting to try Red Door for some time. I finally had the chance and it didn't disappoint. The food was incredible and the service was wonderful. I had a hard time selecting things from the menu because it all sounded so good! I'll definitely be back again.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat neighborhood gemFirst time diners and we will definitely be back! We were a party of 6, so we tried just about everything. Stand out dishes included the Clams Creole, and Savory Scone appetizers. Crackers that get brought to the table reminded us of cheese its...in a great way! Lamb meatballs, mac & cheese and the pork schnitzel were all outstanding. For dessert, if you like peanut butter, the peanut butter torte was so peanut buttery (my favorite) and the chocolate pot de creme was pretty great as well. Service was efficient without being intrusive and allowed us to dine at whatever pace we wanted. Great wine list with lots of options as well.
If your looking for something different from the downtown hodgepodge, check this place out.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThree FriendsMy two friends and I had our first experience eating at The Red Door this week. Everything about the restaurant was a pleasure. Our waiter was very informative about the venue and what it was serving and he had a very pleasant sense of humor.
Our food was terrific and visually pleasing when it was served.
The interior of the restaurant was charming although I probably wouldn't ask to be seated at the table by the window where the bus stop is because it was a little distracting seeing the bus every few minutes.
I definitely will go back. Also, loved the idea of everything on the menu being fresh from a local garden etc.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMSo Good! Sunday BrunchWe had a lovely time at the Red Door. We went for their Sunday brunch - all I can say was that it was FANTASTIC! They have jazz until 1:00 on Sundays - I would highly recommend getting there early to soak in the jazz while drinking ridiculously amazing bellini's (bottomless for $8 - wha?!) and eating awesome short rib hash.
Go to the Red Door- you will not be disappointed.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved that the chef came aroundLoved that the chef came around to every table to see how we were doing.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner with friends and notDinner with friends and not rushed ....
