"Second time we have been here, this time for Easter Brunch. Really did not need a reservation, since there seemed to be plenty of tables at 11:00, although it started to fill up in the outside area as we were leaving. Both times we have eaten here we ate outdoors in the back. Great service. Good food. Great drinks."

"The restaurant is in a great space and it's beautifully decorated - very impressive. However, the food was not good at all and I got charged $4 when I asked for a substitution, and was not told about the charge. Waitstaff needs training in a big way."

"Everything from the decor to the food was amazing. Even the service was stellar. The specialty drink menu was pretty exotic and the waitress gave me a few reccomendations to help. I loved the Canary Mule. The food was out in a good amount of time but I felt like they were quick to cleanup. It was nohing that changed my experience. I definitely think this is a good place for a girls night out where everyone can get a bit dressed up. I had a good time trying it out. Overall great experience, I would definitely reccomend it."

"Hidden Gem for sure. Looks crummy from the outside (sign is torn up, etc) but beautiful inside. Great lighting and colors. Large plush couch/booths to dine in, very swanky and hip. Great place to go to for drinks. Wish it was nicer so we could have gone out to the backyard patio. Service was extremely attentive and food tasted great. Dislikes-they grabbed our plates/drinks before we even finished them. Usually we had a bite or two left, one of my pet peeves. Let your customers finish their meal! Also, extremely small portions for the price. Had to go eat again at another bar down the street after dining here. Lastly, toward 11pm they cranked the music so you couldn't even hear the person next to you talk. Very distracting."

"We went for restaurant week and ate off of the $44 menu. It was delicious for the most part. We started with cocktails (not included) which were really, really good. I ordered the tomato salad which was the most disappointing of our dishes just because tomatoes aren't really in season at the moment. My finacee ordered the fried mac'n'cheese which was great. From there everything was really good. I had the stuffed lobster tail with truffle mashed potoatoes and my fiancee had the short ribs. I can't wait to go back. Our server was great too; I spilled on myself and she immediately brought over soda water."

"We went to the Red Canary for restaurant week. The service and cocktails were great. The food was really good, the short rib was tasty, but I wish it had polenta or mashed potatos to compliment the sauce, the fingerlings were too dry. The space is beautiful and the neighborhood is off the beaten track which I liked."

"I really liked the decor...kind of like Paris meets an old speakeasy. Lots of comfort food like fried chicken, ribs and even things like fish tacos. So something for everyone...not overly fancy food. I had the fried chicken and it was good. I would go again."
