First time eating at Chow Baby and will definitely return again for lunch. The food was delicious, and it was fun selecting my own veggies, sauce, protein and spices. The dish was prepared quickly which makes it great for a lunch break.

Even though you can prepare your own food by the choices one gets (taking into account that it is unlimited times) its really not worth it. The price is cheap, but better to pay five dollars more and enjoy a more quality meal. One of those places you only try it because its something new, but wont come back.

The Food was great. The Service was great. Use of the Open Table was great. We had a very disturbing experience with Valet Parking????? We arrived in 3 separate cars - large group of 10. Lucky for us or we would have missed our 8:00pm curtain time. The valet separated the key from the remote from one car and then locked the car door with the key????? Why?????? When we got ready to move form Chow Baby to the Theatre we could not get the car door opened. IT REQUIRED A TRIP BACK TO MARIETTA TO RETRIEVE AN EXTRA REMOTE. Had we not had extra cars we would have missed our curtain time. NO AMMENDS FOR THIS VERY SERIOUS MISTAKE HAVE BEEN MADE?????

In one word-GREAT! I hosted my Team lunch at the Real Chow Baby and everyone had a great time. They talked about how great the food was all day and how they must return with there family & friends. I suggest getting there before 11:30 to beat the crowd.

The Real Chow Baby was a great choice for a Christmas Eve lunch for our family. We were happy to have one son that is a Marine home for the holidays, another-an Auburn Football player home too. Needless to say, these guys have giant appetites that were satisfied at the restaurant. The food was fresh and well prepared. Our reservation was at 2:30 and the manager was kind enough to personally call us and let us know that they would be closing down around that time so we were able to come earlier. Our wait staff was energetic, happy, and very efficent which only added to a great experience. One last thing, this native-Atlantan thinks the sweet tea was as good as grandmothers! Thanks for a fun and memorable experience, we will be back!

This location can get crowded pretty fast. Go early! I think the new location at the Galleria offers more space and is better for groups of 6 or more. It's a fun place to go with family. We love Chow Baby!

  • Noise level while "energetic"
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008

Noise level while "energetic" in your ratings was in reality quite loud and really not conducive to any sort of normal conversation. I wouldn't rate this as romantic by any means nor good for a special occasion as I believe conversation is basic to those two features. However, the service was very good and of course the price is very reasonable.

I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed the food. It can be crowded on during the week around lunch time, early evenings and weekend. The thing I like about the restaurant is there are so many choices and you can go back multiple times to try different foods. I always tell people before they go there to remember that you are responsible for the quantity and taste of your food. If it doesn't taste good, you can't blame anyone but yourself. I will definitely be a regular customer.

Chow Baby is a great spot for stir fry and the price for both lunch and dinner is very good for all you can eat. The one on Howell Mill tends to get crowded early for lunch during the week and dinner on the weekends, so either make a reservation if you have a large party or get there when the place opens. The service is really good considering how busy the place is. All of the food ingredients are fresh and the choices/combinations are endless. Good place for lunch w/co-workers or friends or for a family dinner. The Galleria location has 2 stir fry lines (vs. 1 for Howell Mill) which helps ease the crowding that you run into at Howell Mill.

I loved it! The atmosphere was loud but I still had fun with my guest. They also enjoyed the concept of creating your food and having it cooked and brought too you. It didn't take long for you to get served. It was a good idea to have reservations or we would have been waiting awhile. But, I could see why people would wait. I would visit this restaurant again with friends or on a date. It was my birthday and I truly enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed it. It's a really nice restaurant and the food was great. The only thing that bothered me was that they wouldn't let my party be seated until everyone arrived as if we were a nuisance--it wasn't very welcoming. I told them that people would come a little later, but they gave us problems on that. They were "nice" about it, but it was frustrating. If I hadn't told people to meet me there for my birthday, I would not have stayed. If I make a reservation it should be honored.

We took my daughter to dinner with 11 people and sat in the patio area under the heat lamps, so the temp. was fine. The servers came out with drinks and brought the food when it was done. We had to stand in line for 15 min. the first time around and almost 25 min. the second time around. This is our 3rd and probably last time at this restaurant for the following reasons: 1. b/c it's "all you can eat", it's very crowded and the lines take forever to get through; 2. we were charged 18% gratuity for servers who didn't do much; 3. the food is just mediocre...everything ends up tasting pretty much the same after a while. This concept will bore real foodies within a year or so... kids like it b/c it's a different concept.

"All you can eat" sounds good. The only problem is that you actually have to GET food before you eat it. The line at the buffet was ridculously long - it took more than 15 minutes to put a plate together. Unless you can afford to spend three hours for lunch, this place is not the best choice.
