"Had not dined here since the new ownership took over, and was pleasantly surprised. Service was very good as was the food with some interesting twists and preparations. Because it is a small restaurant, the seating is a little tight but not to a distraction. The bar in the rear of the restaurant is very popular and the tenders to get slammed...so it does take a bit too long for drinks to make it to the table. And because the bar is small and crowded, we opted for having our after dinner drinks at another spot. But again, not a reason to avoid the restaurant...very good experience."

"Great appetizer list and dinner was exceptional (one of the best) but the desert menu left a lot to be desired. No fruit or chocolate items on the desert menu. We did not stay for coffee or desert. The seating was tight but the rooms were well done and the noise level was low at the Raymond. If it was not so crowed it would be very romantic. Food an A+"

"A favorite of mine for years. Not open for lunch during the week but is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for lunch. Set in an old, historic house. Great patio dining in warm weather."

"Great bar! Unique, but authentic, special drink list and good range of offerings. Only one critisism was serving the martini in a " sherbert " glass and not a classic martini glass. It was a little too precious and we do ot drink a martini to be precious. Very good food and setting for a special evening."

"One in our party ordered the Italian baked eggs - DIVINE. One ordered eggs benedict with avocado - DELICIOUS. One ordered the herb cakes - tasty. It was a gorgeous day, so we dined on their new, lovely patio. Service was attentive but not intrusive - just the way we like it. The owner approached us as we left to inquire about our experience which was much appreciated and is probably one of the reasons why it remains a lovely place to dine."

"Relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The fresh beet salad was beautifully presented and one of the best I have encountered. Our server was friendly and attentive. The entire dinner was expertly prepared and presentation was first class."
