Everything was really excellent except for our server. She had an attitude except when dropping off the bill when she she tried coming up to my husband. All she had to do was get drinks because we went for Easter brunch, which was a buffet. I believe her name was Genevieve. We did not let her spoil our time though. Her service was reflected in her tip.

We were all very relaxed, very well attended to, and the food was outstanding. I had the Ahi tuna appetizer which was cooked perfectly, rare. Between my husband and I, we shared each others' pheasant and scallops which were both very succulent. The presentations were amazing from beginning to end. The prices were very affordable. The service was very accommodating and very well timed. We had a small group of people and everyone was extremely pleased by the ambiance, service and food. We will return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor patio.

The fact the restaurant was so empty explains it all. This was my first visit in a while and it's gone way down hill. The service was fine and the menu looked great. The food itself was extremely lacking, however. The oysters were excellent, but from there it was all down hill. We were served chicken and told it was pheasant (as if it is even possible to get the two confused). And it was not even very good chicken. The steak was way overcooked, then the second one was as far from a "prime" steak as one could get. Like someone in the kitchen ordered lower grade meat and called it "prime". The baked potato was microwaved and mealy. One dessert had old, stale pastry and the other had frozen, runny berries. 0 stars.

It was an excellent start to a great date night. Prices were surprisIngly less expensive than expected for the quality of food they serve. The wine list was on the high side. Beer list and martini list was superb. What really surprised us was seeing groups of other patrons wearing jeans and casual clothes iat such an upscale establishment. Do try the shrimp appetizer, the Pheasant or the filet main dish. The chocolate and caramel bread pudding is exquisite. Avoid the wild mushroom Napoleon; waaaay too gamey.
