"Excellent food in a large bar. Lot's of TV monitors showing all kinds of sporting events. We escaped upstairs to a small booth and had a great time. The wait stuff and food were fantastic. It's a fun place. Does not really fit in with the regular categories. All meet is free range and grass fed. Local wine selection. The merlot is decent, stay away from the syrah."

"This is my second visit to The Range, my date's first. We were a little disappointed that they didn't have a full bar, but the food was delicious, so not too much to complain about. He had the beef and I had the chicken breast. We also shared sweet potato fries as a starter, which were fantastic. We both had to forced ourselves to stop eating them and save room for our entree! (Luckily, the entrees came out quickly, so were able to enjoy the whole spread.) Date seemed to enjoy his beef, my chicken was perfect. I loved the mashed potato of the day--but I had no idea what was in it! I should have just asked, but it would've been nice if that information was posted or offered by the server."

"The restaurant definitely has potential, but nothing about the food really stood out. Typical breakfast place. Great that theyre all about free range meats. Just wish the menu was more inventive."

"Went for lunch on a Thursday so it wasn't really busy. I have a feeling it gets busier towards the evening and on the weekends because of the location. It would be fun to see what the place is like busier. But still had a good time going to lunch. The employees were very nice and had great customer service."

"Stout/porter lovers! Try the peppermint/chocolate stout; it 'tis better than it sounds! About four different sports games going on, and a caring crew both found the game I was looking for as well as noted (with a fair amount of effort) another game was not being televised locally; very nice!"

"When I first walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a friendly staff. Arlin, the manager was great to work with. She was great with the follow up and came by often to check up on us. Our waiter jazz, was Top Notch. What a great guy. He was friendly, knowledgeable and always at our service. The event was great and the view was incredible. We wanted a location in the heart of Hillcrest but not in a dark room. This place was perfect for our gathering. The upstairs area was perfect for our group. We really had a super time there. I would totally come back again. Thank you for eveything! Cheers-"
