We have been in the city for many years and this was our first adventure to the the Ranche House. But I must say it will not be our last and we will recommend to all. The staff are very attentive and accomodating. The food, of course, is devine. I tried the Pressed House Made Bacon and Rabbit. Loved the presentation of the Buttermilk Dressing. Still can't figure out how they did that. The Caribou was done perfectly. Just melted in my mouth. My husband had Seafood Bisque and then Pan Seared Sable Fish. Not a drop was left on either plate.
Keep up the amazing work ! It's nice to have such a little gem in our town.

The entire evening was well look after by attentive staff, with just the right amount of attention and being left alone.
The starters were excellent with just enough to get the taste buds going, not too much food to overwhelm.
Mains selected were scallops in risotto and the braised wild boar shoulder; both exceptionally well cooked and extremely tasty.
The wine paired with the meal - from starters onwards - was an excellent choice offered up by the staff.
The meal was rounded off with dessert and the evening lingered on as the staff were happy to provide an environment where we could relax and carry on chatting.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
