Private Party Facilities: The Ranche has four distinct rooms that can host a private event. Two quaint rooms that will seat 30 people each, a small meeting rooms that will seat 12 people and the main dining room that can accommodate 110 people. Each room has a functioning wood burning fireplace and south facing views of the provincial park.

Located in south Calgary and surrounded by picturesque Fish Creek provincial park, The Ranche Restaurant is situated in a beautifully restored 19th century ranch house built by William Roper Hull. Our wonderful location is complemented by Chef Thomas Neukom's… celebrated "Alberta Rocky Mountain" cuisine. His offerings feature locally raised meats, game and vegetables from farmers and producers who share his vision for sustainable high quality and close to home cuisine. To augment Chef Neukom's Canadian focused cuisine, The Ranche provides a variety of wine from Canada's best producers. "My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely Easter Brunch at The Ranche. The food and service was delightful. However, we found the noise level very high. It was difficult to hear each other talk. I thought it might be because of the large group in the room (12) but my daughter said that this had been her experience in the past as well. I know the wood floors are in keeping with the style of the Hull home but you might want to consider carpeting to soften the noise."

"The food is always very good - good variety and cooked to perfection. The uniqueness of each dish is what brings me back time and time again. The menu does change which makes your dining experience a new adventure with each visit. The service and the ambience of this restaurant is the best in the city."

"I had the French toast and it was the most unique and delicious French toast ever!
My grilled tenderloin and lobster cake was delightful. For those that want a less fishy
Taste use a little horseradish."

"The food was amazing. We started with the sharing wild game platter, very good. Then I had tenderloin which was a flavour party in my mouth. Outstanding!

"My wife and I have been to The Ranche numerous times over the years, including holding our wedding there. The food is consistently excellent, the service always impeccable and the building itself has incredible ambiance and character. For lunch or supper the menu is always interesting and fresh featuring locally raised game, farm fresh ingredients and hand made sauces. And their brunch on Sundays is as amazing as their lunch and dinner menus. If you're looking for a wonderful meal out in a unique setting The Ranche is highly recommended."

"We were seated in sm side room again. Do you have to part of a lg group to sit in the mn room?
The waiter was very helpful with wine selection and I loved my Pinot Noir.
We shared side veg & risotto. I had caribou & my DH had bison. It was fabulous with the exception of the risotto which disappointed. Chocolate lava cake for dessert-tasted great but was far more pudding than cake.
Service was excellent from 6:00-7:00. Then the room was full & our waiter strained to keep up. Also the noise level then made hearing challenging.
I won't be in a hurry to go back but would like to try a meal in summer outside for a quiet meal with a spectacular view."

"Very disappointing. It was extremely loud (to the point that we had to tell at each other to communicate), and the service was sub-par (it took over 90 minutes to get our meals and not once did our server let us know why, he didn't come back to the table after dropping the bill and credit card machine off - we had to go find him after the machine failed multiple times). After reading many reviews prior to our visit I expected a quiet/quaint and pleasant evening but that was definitely not the case."
