  • "My petite filet was wonderful. Great tasty sear on the outside. Meat didn't melt like butter in my mouth, but that does not make it a bad steak. Twice baked potato was huge & delish! My husband had the Prime Rib & he said it was to die for. I see why they recommend it & why they run out on occasion."

  • "Wanted a nice dinner with my wife prior to the Joel Osteen event. We had a 5pm reservation, they had a warm welcome to us. Quickly was taken to our table. And the service was 2nd to none. They asked about our evening planned and they made sure we were out on time, to be on our way to the event. What a great spot! We will be visiting The Ranch on future events!"

  • "This was my second visit to the Ranch. My husband and I started off with drinks in the bar. The Strawberry Vine is amazingly tasty. We started with the popovers. They were ok. Not something we'd order again. I ordered the heirloom beet salad and my husband the spinach salad with strawberries. Both were delicious and something we'd order again. My husband choose the short ribs and I chose the prime rib for our entrees, Again, both were delicious and something we'd order again. For dessert we gave the Milky Way with a Twist a try. Just ok. Wouldn't order it again. Overall it was another wonderful dinner with great service at the bar and at the table. We'll be back again soon!"

  • "Very clean environment, nice ambience, the waiters and servers were very professional and informational, We loved the food; very fresh and not too salty except the cream of spinich and potato au gratin. I had their prime rib. It was delicious but I wish it was less quantity and more variety of sides. If you want to try more variety, go for the chef's special course. You get to try different dishes. Over all we enjoyed the experience there and would definitely want to bring other friends and family next time."

  • "This is my second comment and response to the Ranch restaurant. My dining experience was fair at best. The server Deryck provided poor service. Food was cold and the steaks took 35 mins to come out after the salads. Unacceptable. No apologies and I am still awaiting communication from the manager as a follow up. Still nothing yet. Although highly recommended I was extremely disappointed at the experience."

  • "For my husband's birthday, we weren't sure that The Ranch would be an appropropriate place to bring our 2 year old son but I looked up reviews and found that The Ranch does have a children's menu, so we decided to bring him along. The Ranch was wonderful for all of us, including our surprisingly well-behaved son, who ate a really amazing grilled cheese. We tried the pork chops, a seasonal tomato soup, the onion soup, and one of their steaks. Everything was absolutely choice! The best portion of the meal was their twice baked, fully-loaded potato! You can't pass that up! Our waiter, Dublin, was wonderful and helped to keep our son happy by showing him all sorts of different cooking utensils! So don't be afraid to bring your children! :)"

  • "My husband and I loved our dining experience here. The server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, and very helpful as my husband is a vegetarian. The chef accommodated a special request to make a meat dish vegetarian and did an amazing job. We absolutely loved everything we ate from the popovers to the sweet potato gnocchi to the salmon with tangerine sauce to the cheesecake and flourless chocolate mousse cake with chocolate chip ice cream. We also loved our wines and that they had organic selections to choose from."

Had the double rib eye (58 oz.). A bit overcooked (wanted med-rare), but not the most tender in town. Overall, very good experience. Busy and vibrant on a Saturday night."

  • "We now go to The Ranch about once a month and love it. If I didn't travel for work so much, it would probably be weekly. The food is great, the service is great, and its just as comfortable dressed-down as it is dressed-up. As soon as we have an opportunity, we're also going to try the attached saloon, but that's going to be in addition to, not instead of, the regular restaurant."

  • "My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary at The Ranch. The restaurant was very romantic, perfect lighting, great ambiance. During our appetizer a 5.1 earthquake struck and shook the building pretty good! The staff was incredible and calming and the kitchen did not skip a beat. The food was incredible from start to finish. We will be returning for our next special event! We ordered the grilled artichoke, prime rib, and maplewood smoked chicken and everything was cooked to perfection!"

  • "The Ranch is the epitome of fine dining! Server Jason professional, attentive & knowledgeable about cuisine and & wine. To celebrate my birthday, we began with a glass of Chandon sparkling wine ($10.50). Shared fantastic Heirloom beet salad; also consisted of watercress, almonds, Manchego cheese & oranges. Duck confit ($38.00) not on regular menu, but chef prepared it for us; presented properly & packed with flavor. Slow roasted prime rib ($39.00) thick, juicy & best I've ever consumed! Served with wonderful scalloped potatoes in skillet. Luscious popovers ($6.00) on starter selection, but we opted to have them with our entrees. Impressive wine list with fair selection by the glass. B'day dessert (yummy deconstructed Milky Way bar) free!"

  • "Had the Big Eye Tuna Crudo which was very good, the soup of the day was good also. I had Seabass which was good not great, and the 2 sides of Lobster Mac and Cheese and Cream of Corn, I wouldn't recommend the Lobster Mac and Cheese, it has no lobster in it and is just okay, the Cream of Corn is good but not a must have. I tried the Filet also which was good. For dessert, we had the deconstructed Milky Way which was very good. Overall the food's good, but the service was excellent, you're treated very well."

  • "Honestly this has become one of our favorite restaurants! I have gone when entertaining clients but have found it to be one of the best, tastiest places I've even been. I had the fish which was excellent & perfectly cooked (seabass I believe) and my husband had a steak which he said is better than Morton's or any of the other popular steak houses around. Go to the Saloon next door after!"

  • "Our family has fallen in love with the Ranch. From the service to the delicious food, the Ranch is a great place to go for a date night or family dinner with the kids. The staff is attentive to our needs and notice the little things. My sons were fighting over the wiki stix and one of the managers noticed and brought us 2 more packs. He also noticed how mic my son loved the bread and brought us another basket. The food never disappoints. This time we were there for restaurant week and the deal was awesome. 3 course meal for $40! We also started with the charcuterie platter and were in heaven. I would absolutely recommend this place!"

The food and service were both wonderful, I love the fact that they play country music while serving truly great New American food. I had the short ribs, which at this time had a pinot noir reduction, and it was outstanding. I'm so glad I got to try it. I will be back."

  • "Our server was very friendly and attentive. The popovers were delicious! Both homemade pasta appetizers that my party tried were impressive. The braised short rib was good. My favorite part of that dish was the cherry sauce. The other couple I was with did not care for the prime rib. Dessert was great overall. The sticky toffee pudding was just okay- I am usually disappointed when I order it anywhere but Playground so I'm not surprised that I didn't love it. The pecan pie was amazing, and the meyer lemon creme brulee was wonderful. It was creamy and refreshing at the same time. Overall the experience was pretty good, but I will probably not return because there are too many other exceptional restaurants in Orange County that I prefer."
